Someone I know told me today that the record for voter turnout in a county in South Jersey which is fairly solid red for forever, was 65% and was for an election decades ago. As of now, with people mailing in and handing in ballots, there is 35% of all registered voters having deposited their ballots with the county. I got mine in the mail yesterday, the soonest I would think anyone could have gotten theirs is this past Monday. The ballots aren't opened or counted until election day I believe, so all that's known is that it seems that a staggeringly high level of turnout is happening. So, does this mean fears of ballot harvesting and fraud via the dead and duplicate names / people that moved are coming true, or is this a sign that supporters of POTUS are highly energized (as this is and has been a red county in a blue state)?
