The Chinese are crafty. They will work around tarrif and US import restriction laws. They did it in previous years, they do it today. They did it with Honey several years ago. Look up Honeygate.
Do not trust anything anymore when it comes to the Chinese.
Thats messed up, but you know the home builders, the trades, farms, and services labor businesses in Texas are salivating at the notion of young cheap labor flooding into the state.
These kids are what 17 years old at max? That's 40 to 50 years of cheap labor at least.
Gotta love the immigrants "I'm an American too" schtick.
Like c'mon, you travel to your home country 5 times a year, carry dual citizenship, and have retirement plans back in said country once you've accumulated enough in the USA.

Interesting point. In fact we did that with African American slaves who adopted the white way of life under emancipation. Besides Jim Crow and the thorny progress of integration, things were going largely ok. Social change takes time. Then the 1960's happened. MLK was shot dead. Someone or some party did not like the advances black people were making adopting capitalism, christianity, and western ideals.
It remains to be seen if a diverse nation state like the US can survive on said diversity. That's never happened before. So far, it appears to be more politically chaotic than ever - and diversity is driving the chaos. So I have my doubt about our survivability.
I'm seeing a deep rift opening up among all minority groups and whites in the US. I see it at the local county level here with my county judge and his Tweets - the bias calling out "white violence" and ignoring everything else. He's not white.
You can call it white nationalism, but in reality, whites built and ran this society as a majority for 200 years. Would a majority of Chinese be called Chinese Supremacy or Chinese Nationalism? A mojority of Turks, Indians, or Jews? We set the rules based upon values familiar to us. That's not nationalism. That's called running a country. And many of us see the the staggering failure of diversity, so much so that going back to a more stable atmosphere is extremely palatable to many.
Liam Omara, Phd and College history teacher, ran as a dem, lost to the GOP in California's 42nd District. He'll may run again in 2022. He was endosred by none other than Ted 'racist' Lieu.
Call him up and tell him and his camp to quit running for office. He doesn't represent American voters..
Because PBS must maintain that racial tension only flows in one direction --> toward whites.
