Exactly. They're defining domestic terrorism that way to target trump supporters based on the disruption of Congress while in session on 1/6. This interpretation will become the standard going forward. That way any political terrorism by BLM or Antifa can be excused and ignored while any actions against the coup and its plotters is targeted.
I get what he's saying. He's trying to weasel around answering the question honestly which would make the Dems paramilitary wing look bad. They've already declared anyone who opposes them as enemies of the state, domestic terrorists, etc. Not sure at this point why people are surprised by statements like this. The federal government has been weaponized against their political opposition for awhile now. They keep stepping it up just like history has taught us they would.
