I swear I remember hearing Bongino calling this, months ago. Something about this guy being moved around and associated with all of these investigations, and will be the fall guy when this stuff all inevitably fails.

Nope, not accepting that excuse. Trump wasn't president prior to the 2016 election either, yet we got that whole Russia collusion investigation.

It really is amazing to watch these absolute fools excuse away evidence they could only dream of having on Trump. The ran with that peepee tape fanfic for years, yet hunter laptop photos and those nasty diary entries about Joe? Zero principles have led them to into such indefensible positions.

The narrative being pushed by the usual suspects seems to be

  1. apparently taibi ambiguously noted in one of his tweets, that the government either never requested the story be took down, or the government never confirmed the laptop was hacked. Of course these clowns interpret that at their convenience, and say "see, government never requested it be taken down"

  2. even if the government ordered it to be taken down, Biden didn't hold any official position in gov, yet Trump was president. So it's Trump's fault the FBI told big tech to censor the laptop story.

Sam Harris already admitted he was perfectly fine with big tech collusion and censorship to subvert democracy, and he's supposed to be one of the smart ones.

People keep getting unbanned, while Musk keeps making sure to point out that their policy hasn't changed. Sounds like he's priming the narrative that Twitter was subjectively removing users/content, against their own TOS. We all knew this to be true, but I want to see the receipts he's hinting at.

I think if this were to happen, they go full Australia and try to ban math (encryption), unless they're given keys. No way they let him launch his own devices along side his own network. Way too much freedom for their comfort. It'll be blacklisted along side Huawei.

I had no idea either. I used to assume intellectuals, especially as highly regarded as himself, would try to stick to objective truths. Dude was straight up justifying subverting democracy via censorship, and yet we're supposed to consider him a serious scientist. Now he deleted his Twitter over the removal of more politically motivated censorship. The self destruction of this absolutely massive turd is amazing to watch.

Elaborate. I like to know more.

These commies gonna choke off the country's supplies at the ports, aren't they? If this only affected the costs to deliver goods to them locally, I'd say they get what they asked for, but since this will affect all of us... I didn't ask for this.

One theory seems to be that the poll was a honeypot. I didn't see it live, but I've read that it was something like 80% for reinstating trump, and then suddenly dropped to near 50%.

Elon certainly seems to be aware of the bot issues plaguing social media, and even acknowledged the likely boring in regards to this particular poll. It's absolutely within the realm of possibility that he had identified some issues related to bots, some possible solutions, and then launched that poll to bait them out.

Personally I don't believe he left that decision up to his user base. He had already declared, probably over a year ago, that Trump should be reinstated.

Unsurprising, yet disappointing.

They've demonstrated that that doesn't even matter anymore.

So far I love everything destanis has done. It'd be a major red flag though if he jumps in bed with the establishment. If he can manage to stick to conservative principles and keep his distance from the establishment, he would earn my vote in the absence of candidate Trump.

He already called half the country domestic terrorists. This isn't surprising.

Next you'll tell me he moved on to stealing elections!

Pretty sure there is some sort of law that real humans have to receive responses to spam texts like this, maybe just a certain percentage of them.

Nah. Recently went to a pro sportsball event, as on a whim I checked and found some really cheap tickets in the lower bowl. A few minutes after the game started, dude next to me asked what I paid. He explained that he's a season ticket holder, and every year "this day" tickets are dirty cheap. Turns out it was pride night. This shit is being rejected across the board, yet it continues to be shoved in our faces.
