I began the process of giving up google last week. This is a big chore, so I've been kicking that can down the road for a while. Watching these companies just continue to jump into politics has forced my hand. Haven't been to a sporting event in years, and after they endorsed BLM last year, I have no plans to change that. I haven't paid for cable in years, and really need to figure out how to cut amazon out next.
This is years in the making, and only seems to be escalating. Trump voters being dragged out of their car and beaten, BLM rioters shooting dude wearing a Trump hat, etc. We have public schools teaching critical race theory/white fragility. The narrative being pushed to children on sesame street.
Yet the media still races to push the anti asian crap. Anyone caught questioning the narrative in our public squares is silenced or canceled. Suddenly it's the rest of the world that is clinging to core american values as we self implode.
Fortunately I am seeing people I know first hand taking real action. Taking their kids our of public schools, walking away from jobs due to mandatory vaccines, etc. I'd love to see a complete split of society and let these clowns fend for themselves.
I sure hope this shit is going to be dispensing some red pills. After all the shit they tried to manufacture on a Trump.
"He needed to hold the rail to walk?! Lol!!"
Now what? What do they have so day about this now? This dude actually fell, 3 times, walking up a flight of stairs, while holding the rail. And this is only the latest, in what feels like daily irony, in an only ~2 month old term.
To me, it's sad. To see an elderly man, clearly manning a role he isn't fit for. Dude needs to be riding out the remainder of his days with his loved ones.
I'm not sure the story will entirely disappear. They still peddle the very fine people BS to this day.
This was already in the works last night. Articles outright admitting a motive had not been identified, and in the next sentence anti asian hate crimes were brought up. This is the same media that came up with "Easter Worshipers" in an effort to memory hole attacks on Christians.
Agreed on the UTSA proximity point. The only other ramen spots I knew of in town were also on the NW side of town, and afaik, they also had a bigger clientele. I had heard of this place, but there are larger targets for any local racists. This has hoax all over it.
They've been doing that for years now. If you've ever made a comment in rpolitics and wonder why the community didn't bury it in shit, it was probably because it was silently removed before they had a chance to circle jerk all over it.
I've used one. It was an odd texture at first. Almost a little bumpy or something. I only noticed it by touching with my hand, not while laying on it. The material on the inside is pretty pliable and you can fluff it up pretty easy. Just get the proper firmness, because I tried a slimmer one and I just couldn't get comfortable.
I mean, her claims are no more unbelievable than the idea that 80+million people voted for a senile swap creature, that didn't campaign at all, only stepped out into the sunlight to encourage blm/antifa activity (violence), generated the lowest ever voter enthusiasm numbers and got caught weeks before the election in bed with china and ukraine.
Seriously. I was sitting there, about an hour ago, and realized this is probably the 3rd time I've had this conversation about the election being rigged, tonight. It was clearly on everyone's mind. The crowd was a 50/50 mix of 1st generation immigrant (citizens.) They've had to shutdown their small businesses, and you could see their blood begin to boil as their children brought up the prospect of black friday shopping tomorrow.
One in particular was a family of 4, life long democrats.
The two parents are small businesses owners. The father was raised by a very conservative father, and they actually had a falling out some years back over a difference in politics. Here we are several years later, and due to the corona lockdowns, they're forced to shut their doors for covid lockdowns. Meanwhile BLM is marching in the streets and their destruction being endorsed by the same politicians that shut the doors on the business owners.
Eventually as lockdowns started to relax, and they try to open their business, the former employees won't return to work because the unemployment benefits are paying too well. They couldn't get anyone to replace the old employees, for the same reason, and eventually they have to turn away business. Last I heard they're considering closing permanently.
I spoke to the children of the business owners a couple months ago and they said:
These kids are young professionals now, and I can tell they're still more concerned about how their peer group looks at them than anything. Just last week one of the children reached out to me and said
The two parents are now closeted conservatives, you know, because how tolerant progressives are.
The two kids are now in the process of discovering how their values and friendships don't meet eye to eye
