I noticed the other day when the Alexa data was posted here that Australia was like 3rd on list of active visitors here. My personal experience with Australians backs up your statement as well. I'd gladly trade Canada for y'all.
The $600 was enough to prevent people from working for a living. The reduction of "income" there, with the increase from the suspension of a payroll tax may just be enough incentive to get people off their ass. Of course the Dems oppose it, they want to inflict as much economic damage as possible. They only care about EOs when it's the other side doing it, they don't have actual principles.
I think this is what they call getting "ratioed", but I don't twitter, so I can't be sure. My understanding is getting ratioed is when more people comment on your post than retweet it. Also, the likes seem kind of low relative to the other stats.
I played sports my whole life, and have been a big fan of the teams of my hometown all my life. I haven't watched more than a few minutes to see what my home team was doing in regards to BLM. Haven't tuned in since.
This shutdown of the sport leagues is going to lose a lot of fans, before you factor in the unnecessary politics. Look at what the holdouts did to the leagues over the years, I don't think hockey ever recovered.
I know their initial viewership was up, but I'm expecting this to affect them significantly. It won't all be a result of the politics, but it certainly won't help. SJW twitter isn't suddenly going to become a fan of a full contact sport because they slapped a BLM logo on the field, or a player took a knee.
Unbelievable that it's now necessary to carry body cams when wearing clothing in support of the president of this country. If there wasn't already an endless list of other reasons, the fact that the media has not only ignored it, but condoned it, has secured my vote.
I tuned in to confirm whether my local team was taking part in that shit. Sho nuff, and I didn't watch today. I'm not going to voluntarily tune in to have some looney political agenda shoved in my face. I'm done with the sport, for the time being anyway. The NHL best not do this, but after seeing what CBC did to Grapes, I'm not very optimistic.
I see this time and time again. Most recently with a first generation immigrant. A couple years back they were quick to say "yeah that's racist" in lockstep when hearing something filtered through the Democrat media. About 6 months ago we had NPR on (only for some perspective) and when this person got to hear a Congress woman's direct comment about monetary compensation for "black women" this person identified the actual racism.
This person is no longer a default Democrat, and discovered their actual values were held by conservatives.
Can they do that? Won't the votes be for Biden? Doesn't he have to take this across the finish line?
