And they had a choice this time!!! She wasn't running unopposed, she wasn't running against a token white guy to smack down. She was running against a black guy who used to be in the Navy who was running devastating commercials showing that she didn't live where the voters were living. And they STILL chose dumb Maxine.

Add to that the one representative years ago who thought Vanuatu would tip over if the population got too big on that island.

For me that's my father-in-law who claims to watch some Fox News shows to get a sense of what the other side is saying. Just because he's watching doesn't mean he's understanding. It's like my cat watching tv.

It's like that moment in the best South Park episode ever where Gene Hackman is fighting Christopher Reeves turned evil and the reporter says, "If irony was made of strawberries, we'd be eating a lot of shortcake now."

They are floating the idea seriously of having nat'l guard troops to guard the Capitol complex for the next 20 years.

They are saying walls with razor wire will protect the Capitol complex from unauthorized people, but walls to protect us against narcos and terrorists are silly.

This is peak clown world.

That's exactly why I just posted it for all my "friends" on fb. Because I knew the regressive progressive tards will eat it up with no fucking irony and the ones on my side will marvel at the sheer audacity of putting this out there so brazenly.

There was also this anti-1st Amendment gem further down in the article: "Laura Quinn, a veteran progressive operative who co-founded Catalist, began studying this problem a few years ago. She piloted a nameless, secret project, which she has never before publicly discussed, that tracked disinformation online and tried to figure out how to combat it. ... The solution, she concluded, was to pressure platforms to enforce their rules, both by removing content or accounts that spread disinformation and by more aggressively policing it in the first place."

The guy in the corner looks like the guy who does weather for NHK News. It's sad to have to watch English news from Tokyo to get a sense what's actually going on in the world because the MSM is too busy feeding Psucki the questions ahead of time and asking about Biden's favorite ice cream flavor.

I'm in my upper 40s and have the same experience. It's so painful. I used to think it was a West Coast thing because I moved out here decades ago, but I'm finding this idiotic attitude has infected a lot of the people from back "home".

I'm watching an interview of James Rickards from Fall 2019 talking about the next financial crash and he mentioned about how you can get a warning the dollar will tank by watching what the really big billionaires are doing to hedge their assets out of dollar value. He mentioned precious metals of course, but then he mentioned buying up land and at that point I thought, "Shit, Bill Gates is the largest owner of US farmland right now." He's hedging the bets.

I get triggered whenever someone claims it's "common sense" because it's always a manipulation to get the other person to shut up. You know, like the funny Progressive commercial where Flo is in the 1950s and the guy says, "Shut up, men are thinking." And in my experience, a good 99% of the time, when someone says "It's just common sense" it's everything BUT that.

Remember when he started saying we should all wear goggles too? And notice how he isn't? Fun times.

Shit. Sounds like we're going to become that situation on Spaceballs where we are opening cans of air and scheming to use Mega Maid to suck the clean air out of Druidia. MAGA MAID!

Biden had a plan. His plan was to just continue what Trump admin was doing with 'Rona.

Definitely another vote for Jr. here. He's the only one of the kids I trust. But I also agree that Lara seems solid too. I just can't get enough of whenever Jr. drops in for interviews with whatever show. He's just so amazingly spot on.

When it comes to elderly people who still buy into Democrat propaganda, I think of it this way... You know the adage that people under 30 who are liberal have a heart and people over 30 who are conservative have a brain? (Nevermind I've always had a heart and brain and was strongly consevative as a teen, but that's me.) I prefer to think of it that if you've reached 50 and beyond and are still voting Dem, then you're just shallow. There are tons and tons of shallow people in the world. They are the ones who broadly accept news, haven't heard of Antifa until this past summer, they go off to their jobs and church and do the family holidays. But, if you try to ask them WHY they vote the way they do, they'll throw out the standard shallow answers like, "Because I'm not racist." or "Because I care about poor people." or "Because my union shop steward is a good guy and says vote D no matter what." or "Because my family is D and we just do that." Sometimes there are shallow conservatives too and that is probably more a family generational thing. But seriously, by the time people get to 50, they've swallowed multiple red pills. If they actually stop and think, then they change their mind, shift their paradigm, and start looking at what the other side has to offer. Unfortunately, like I said before, too many people are shallow and will continue to go against their interest and against their life experience.

I'd love if he'd call it the Freedom Party. It's far easier to taunt people by asking, "So you don't like freedom?" Because we know many lefties hate America and definitely aren't patriots.

Yes, this is one of the things I find the most hilarious out of the commenters I'm seeing on fb posts. Such a ridiculous analogy on so many levels. You have to assume that said bakery is the only place that can bake a cake for a prohibitively large geographic area AND that there is no place to procure the raw materials to make on your own.

Maybe she's got Wuflu. Rep Jayapal from WA state just announced that she tested positive right after coming out of hiding and, of course, blamed her condition on hiding out with those dirty conservative reps. Nevermind that's not how incubation works, but anyhoo.

Yep, like a mosquito being barred entry by a chain link fence. Dr. Drew Pinsky who is against lockdowns but in favor of masking caught Covid -- at a hospital when he went to get the vaccine and was denied -- and he's a stickler about wearing masks and having everyone around him properly wearing. And even with all that precaution and his OCD tendencies mixed with proper medical sanitary procedures, he still caught Covid. Seems to me like that is the definitive case to prove that the masks simply DO.NOT.DO.SHIT.
