I dated an extrovert before dating my husband and have realized all this time later that I would've been completely miserable if the extrovert had been interested in more than a season of dating. I cannot stand parties and he and his friends loved doing parties, gathering at bars, etc.. So not my thing. And not my husband's thing.

Thanksgiving is blissfully just the immediate family. The extended family members are terrified of the rona and I can't stand FIL anymore, so I know it makes me a small petty person to celebrate that I don't have to be stuck in the same space with him for several hours.
