It looks like the script is matching any first and last name and birth year on the same line across all txt files in the PA zip file. The source data is very messy and not uniform, so I see why it's difficult to confirm the dead from this.
The cemeteries lines in a lot of cases look like this:
Downing, Nelson E., 1901 – 1932, Section 5, Range 13, Lot 16 owned by Robert J. Harrison, [Nelson Downing married Marie Harrison, daughter of Robert and Marie Harrison of Sharpsburg. In 1910 he is shown in the O’Hara Township census as the son of the widowed Mary C. Downing. By 1930 he and Marie had 4 children and he worked as a life insurance agent. HE died in O’Hara Township on May 14, 1932 at age 30 of lobar pneumonia. He was interred on May 17, 1932], (contributed by Diane Nichols)
From that bio, we can get false positives on Marie Harrison for 1910, Mary Downing for 1930, and possibly Diane Nichols for 1932.
-- but thats just one example. Theres so many different formats for each of the counties.
It may be helpful to store the matched lines in the output when you find a 'match', so we can do a quick manual verification on it.
Maybe we can get a mod to review it
We definitely have some nimble navigators here.
Excellent idea!
This could be refferring to signature verification on ballots which is being done by AI. The accuracy thresholds in many counties was set as low as 40% https://www.marketplace.org/shows/marketplace-tech/vote-by-mail-ballots-mismatched-signatures-verification-software-disenfranchisement/
A hand recount could disqualify many thousands of these ballots where the signatures did not match.
I'm in a very red state but I'll be taking two people to vote Trump who had no plans to actually go vote. My only regret is I couldn't convince my brother before he early voted in Florida
When he asked "Who would vote for Joe Biden?" only 1 person raised their hand.
This is brilliant persuasion.
It puts Biden on the defensive, Trump is the one asking for the test after all. If you remember the debates with Clinton, there were people attacking Trump for sniffling saying that he was on something -- Well by Trump getting out ahead of it this time, nobody can make a crazy attack like that again, and instead the questions will be on Biden.
If Biden is taking performance-enhancing drugs before the debate, he's going to have to think twice about it now that he's already being suspected of it. This means he might just take a lower dose or forgo the drug and have a terrible debate performance just by being overly cautious about getting caught. He may also get in his head and become self-conscious of how he's acting in the debates.
The best thing is the claim is so 'wrong' that the story draws attention to itself and puts more light to something being 'off' with Biden, but while also raising expectations of his performance before the debate. If everyone was expecting 'sleepy biden', now they'll be expecting a guy who's coked up and ready to answer any question -- making Bidens normal performance even more sleepy.
They're not after Trump anymore. They're after all of his supporters.
