What is your business? If you're selling stuff, could you switch to "mail order"?

You'd be paying for packing materials, shipping labels, etc. Generally, unless you have contract rates, USPS is the cheapest (First Class Package for <1 lb. then Priority Mail for >1 lb.), but FedEx/UPS are cheaper for very heavy (think >20 lb) packages

I mean, you could do both, and you could market your business nationwide instead of just locally

You'd need a webstore though, and you might not want to use SaaS services (Shopify to name one). Woocommerce, self-hosted, might be better but only if you know what you're doing or if you can get a good IT guy. Might not be worth it though. Depending on your scale, a SaaS service might be the better option

Fine for what?

You can't just fine anyone. You can fine someone for breaking the law... but point me to the law.

If you input the tracking number (the same one as you are using to track on FedEx's website) into USPS's website, what does it say?

Can you clarify if the FedEx service says "FedEx Smartpost"?

Basically, I think what's going on is MyPillow is using FedEx Smartpost, which basically involves MyPillow -> FedEx, then FedEx delivers to your post office, then USPS delivers to your house. (It's cheaper for them.)

If you input the tracking number into USPS's website, what does it say?

Schwab? Yes, they had computer issues this morning, but I can still buy/sell GME with cash, at least.

Well I guess they're about to lose a mid 6 figures client.

Time to find another broker...

E: wait... are options restricted, or the entire stock? Like can I buy/sell shares, not on margin, but using cash? Because thats all I do...

schwab blocked gme and amc

Umm... I have a Schwab account and I can still actively trade both..?

Get on webull. free trades.

IIRC Webull has Chinese origins? Not a problem for me, but they have ties to China... not something that I'm really interested in

Don't use Robinhood.

Open an account with a proper brokerage like Schwab, ETrade, etc. and use that.

Robinhood is known for glitching and the like. And if you're gonna get into stocks, may as well go with a proper brokerage.

Markets closed 8 PM EST. They open (for early trading) at 4 AM EST tomorrow, but most brokers only let you on after 7 AM (I think?). Regular trading hours start at 9:30 AM EST and end at 4 PM EST.

Unfortunately, you then have to have some based network infra to connect to... and that doesn't come easy nor is it cheap

Yeah, but I'd think that it's harder to jam wireless (if you set it up right) than find fiber and snip it.

You can literally call 611 (or whatever the number is) and utility companies will send someone out to mark their fiber for free. Then someone can just dig and snip away.

Wireless - you need specialized equipment, etc.

Of course wireless communications would have to be heavily encrypted.

Time to start my own ISP...

(A wireless ISP, that is. No fiber = no cutting fiber.)

You just saved a bunch of money by being on hold for two weeks and arguing with 13 people ! Say you're moving out of the country. Always works

E: Unless you also have internet with that company...

Maybe change your DNS servers? Do you use a CenturyLink router (you likely don't need to use their router; you can substitute your own)?
