The sacrifices that vets make are commendable, but they are not being done on behalf of America’s citizens, at least the ones who don’t have business interests in the Middle East.
The US is a net energy exporter.. US energy reserves will last the country for at least 80 years and throw in some wind energy in the midwest and high deserts and it will last 100+ years.
There is no reason any American needs to be stationed in the Middle East.
College admissions use social credit in forms of acceptable and unacceptable activities kids participated in. Sport teams like soccer, swimming, and lacrosse are downgraded since they are white activities. Activities like boy scouts, environmental clubs/cleanups, and church are downgraded for same reason.
Social justice is only one or working flipping burgers in summer because that is what minority kids supposedly have to do.

**Capitol riot spells the end for Trump with the Republicans. But he’s still a hero to many, so why not start a party of his own? **
Dismissed and lied to by the media, disdained by the political class, censored and subjected to propaganda on social media, and mocked by the intelligentsia, many Trump supporters felt they had nothing left to lose in terms of reputation. Several hundred put everything on the line for the cause.
The double standard that these Trump supporters labor under will now be redoubled. Their violence has been deemed inexplicable and contemptible, while leftist violence was ignored or excused for the better part of a year.
What must be particularly worrying to the elites is that the people who protested are actually the ones better off economically and many from states that did not have draconian lockdowns. You can't blame the pandemic for this.
This isn't the Bonus Army (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonus_Army) of the 1930's demanding more money, or poor people demanding a bigger handout, it was the average middle class Joe and Jane and Ashli demanding their country back. Normally, these would be the people who would be counted on to shoulder the burdens of an economic recovery.
I never was a Republican and surely am not a Democrat.
New York State just passed a law to that effect. All the surrounding states usually follow New York State.
I wan't to see a way out of this so badly. It's very clear Biden's administration was the establishment's middle finger. Now will the law act and stop him or what?
What is our plan?
Look at some of the countries in the world where election theft is regular, where governments are run by an elite clique, the plan always materializes.
Lol. I would not be surprised if there is a communication outage today or tomorrow (there are still a lot of protesters staying overnight). Like cellphones won't reach past area code that you are in and no internet.
This is nowhere over.
Not advocating violence, but as a matter of opinion, I can see people protesting hard in Michigan and Arizona.
Probably correct, but to achieve that they will have to do more than just build barriers.
They will have to proactively seek out the alleged "threat" that invariably will trample civil rights and make more enemies of the state. It's a self-feeding loop.
Barriers by themselves distance the people from their government. I can still remember that prior to 9/11 you could actually go into a government building without having to go through metal detectors and search of your belongings and your car trunk.
The smartest thing would have been for Pence to postpone the vote for 24 hrs while seeking a compromise.
This is correct.
I am not advocating violence, but, abstractly, in other countries when an election is stolen and violence happens afterwards there is a counterreaction. The counterreaction usually goes overboard and works against the government that stole the election.
They didn't even say stop when BLM was smashing in the front door of their Atlanta HQ.
I don't care who felt it necessary to commit violence, the fact that they did this sends a message that business as usual has ended.
Seriously, tell me that Trump's rally in Butler PA with 20,000+ wildly cheering attendees means he lost to a senile fool holding cringeworthy car rallies for 30 people.
Are you really telling me that in a country that likes strong leaders that a guy hiding out for months in his basement and being attended to like an early Alzheimer's patient wins against a sitting President who has boundless energy, beat Covid in 3 days and held rally after rally?
CNN and Fox are the mouthpieces of the swamp. I am sure everyone in the swamp thought la di da we'll just steal the election and everything will be back to normal: screw the middle class, incite minorities against the middle class, and let the rich cash in.
Guess that didn't quite work out that well.
This. Coming in from a deep blue state. Staying in my friend's campervan.
C'mon man. Deep state does not exist. /s
Omar is from Somalia.
It's not the government. It's the uniparty.
The uniparty is a candle burning on both ends. The establishment Republicans didn't care about Trump in the last 4 years and were willing to let him lose. Dems are working hard to screw the Bernie Bros and the AOC progressives like they screwed Sanders twice.
You can call the Bernie Bros whiny little spoiled children, AOC dumb as bag of rocks and her Green New Deal pie-in-the-sky, but they are as much a victim of the uniparty that outsourced blue collar jobs and created a service economy as a laid off steel worker in Pennsylvania.
China could end Bezos entire career with a single change in trade policy. Amazon is nothing but a glorified China-direct drop-shipper, after all.
Go post that on reddit in Bernie friendly subs. The reaction would be interesting.
Within 1 month all of this would be over and everybody would have reached herd immunity.
I think they supposedly debunked herd immunity very quickly. How, I don't know.
The whole virus thing is really odd and weird and early on completely convoluted, contradictory (don't wear a mask, wear a mask, you better be wearing a mask).
The early pics/videos supposedly taken surreptitiously in China now in hindsight seem staged - unless they managed to introduce a second virus that somehow mitigates the actions of the first.
At some point, I recall, Trump saying/tweeting that the virus was created to make his re-election impossible. Given how Trump lacks a filter sometimes, I can see that he was told in an intelligence briefing that no one could rule out that the virus was created to target his reelection bid. I think Trump's biggest deficit is when he just doesn't level with America because he is concerned what the opposition makes of his statements. Surprisingly, if with his most out-there statements, he has always been substantially right at the end.
I am the kind of Trump voter who came to Trump after voting for Obama in '08, and the media's lack of objectivity is glaring. I never thought the media was really neutral (rather that they aimed to please the center in power since access to that meant power) but even by that standard they have lost the narrative.
This. So far, Dems lost 10 seats, and Republicans picked up 11 seats (one from libertarians). Republican pick ups were even in NM (solid blue state), MN, and Michigan, but Trump loses all?
The whole thing stinks.
He is a reliable Wall Street Republican, which is the Democrat position now. He is reliable votes for corporations.
Clarke is right.
