Uniparty. It's become super clear during this past 4 years that the Republicans have done only as much as absolutely needed to maintain the illusion they are "on our side" and supporting the President -- and no more. There are a handful of notable exceptions, but not enough to really matter.

Congress and the Senate don't work for us. They clearly work for someone else. The real question is who?

Oh good! Another senate hearing. The R's will ask some pointed questions. They will act angry and demand something be done. The D's will disparage the hearing and defend the "irregularities".

And then absolutely nothing will happen. We've seen this show too many times before. Hell, the witnesses have license to straight up lie during testimony without fear of consequences, as evidenced by Dorsey and Zuckerberg.

Genuinely curious: trapping his enemies? I know he's survived every trap, but you make it sound like the perpetrators have been caught and brought to justice. Yeah he sure has tweeted at them furiously, those tweets laced with "X should do something" -- but I can't seem to recall anybody trapped or having any consequences.

Please provide some examples of his enemies being trapped, and the consequences they suffered.

Watching what the police did to block GOP legislators from casting their votes yesterday, I could be persuaded to agree with defunding them.

If an employer hires someone and they steal from them, its on the employer.

Umm.. What? You're excusing thievery and blaming it on the employer? I've done a lot of hiring in my career. Sometimes you get someone that exceeds all expectations, sometimes you get a dud. Same hiring process.

That's some tortured left wing logic that says "it's your fault I stole from you, because you hired me." Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I put the blame squarely on the low life criminal. Not on the guy that was giving him a chance at a better life.

Maybe reddit is more your speed.

Classic communist propaganda.

Pretty ironic that they are blocking people on the opposite side of the "defund the police" movement.

I only there was 1/1000th as much action as there were tweets from the President and Lin Wood, we'd be celebrating the routing of communists from our government by now.

But yes, please... maybe one more tweet will do it instead. Keep trying I guess.

Looks like it wouldn't have mattered anyway. The early morning vote dumps would have just been increased to cover however many votes were needed.

Now they'll just be "moot" because the results have already been certified, or some shit like that.

Because you can never be sure you got all the Rinos out. Start fresh and vet the fuck out of everybody.

Love how you're not getting downvoted by the weed advocates... it's almost as if they see this huge block of text and are too lazy or stoned to read it, so they just skip it.

Ah, the old HRC defense... "well technically she is guilty, but there was no intent there".

Sounds legit. I'm gonna try that next time i get a speeding ticket.

I like Farage, but his opinion is irrelevant here. We fixed that in 1776.
