Fair point, I think intent is an important factor though. You can burn a flag because you hate america or you can burn a flag because it's tattered and you have replaced it with a new one. The physical representation is just cloth and dye, you give it the meaning you want and how others perceive it is their own deal, MAGA hats are a perfect example.
That and many many many people on the left are law abiding gun owners. I don't know why they try to pit this as a left right thing, I guess if they say it enough it will be and it will push people on the left to either veer right or bend the knee so as not to seem racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/xenophobic/etc.
More pitty than disgust. Imagine having an illness and society pressuring you to give in to the illness rather than get help, and knowing in the back of your mind there's like a 50% you will kill yourself because of it. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
I got out of IT and moved to HVAC, pays better, cant be outsourced, and robots will never be able to do what I do at least in my life time. The funny thing is I spend most of my time in data centers keeping servers nice and cool.
While I agree, the same could be said about your driver's license, your license plate, your SSN, etc. They have always had everyone right where they want them. Minus guns, they have almost no control over guns when the rubber meets the road.
They matter because we will continue to fight, no matter the odds, if you have given up completely you wouldn't be on this site or you are are employed by Soros.
