It's so weird to me that this never gets mentioned even here. Biden was sucking tailpipe in the race until the Wuflu made the Dems fuck with their primaries. Then suddenly Biden gained this huge insurmountable lead over more obviously popular candidates.
Not to mention that the least popular and the one candidate who went hardest after Biden ended up being picked for the VP spot.

The strangest part to me is how quickly people on the left not just abandoned that metric but rushed to support permanent lockdowns. They would cut their own throats just to virtue signal. It's insanity.
For everyone I know it became very apparent that this was intended to disrupt the election when the lockdowns were still happening in May. By that point the left had bolted completely past 'two weeks to flatten the curve' and straight into 'if you don't stay home you're killing people'. By that point I didn't know anyone who had contracted the virus but I was supposed to believe it was killing tens of thousands.
