I live in a blue county in a red state; even at 2pm on a Friday afternoon there was no long line at the place that is set up for early voting. You can do it! Let's finish this!!

They were pregnant with a little one who was supposed to be born only days ago, and suffered a miscarriage. In your kindness, please remember them in your prayers today, and all those parents who have suffered the loss of a child.

...Are the same people who have ignored the 3+ months of empirical evidence that HCQ is an effective treatment for the WuFlu and has saved thousands more lives worldwide than any mask has. That is all.

Long story short, spoke to my republican state representative. The KY AG is bringing a suit against Fuhrer Beshear's mask mandate. My rep said he will be very surprised if it is NOT struck down as being unconstitutional. The parameters are too broad, and it doesn't make sense. Wear a mask outside, but not inside a sweaty gym? Yeah, what the heck. The suit was supposed to be brought this week, but now it looks like it might be next week. I am going to call the AG's office and make sure they aren't going to screw it up. He is optimistic it will be struck down, since Beshear has already had 2 of his executive actions ruled unconstitutional. I am not optimistic about anything remotely related with this virus anymore. He said that the most of the republican reps share his sentiment that all of this is being done by the Democrats to keep people controlled and afraid before the November elections. I told him that it's obvious Beshear is getting his marching orders from the DNC. He agreed. He also said that once the legislature gets back into session (they are out of session due to "state of emergency" being declared) they are going to introduce legislation to curb the executive powers during a state of emergency. It's obvious Beshear is using the state of emergency to abuse his power. I asked if the governor will just veto it. He said they will have a day set if he does to override the veto (will have to look into how this works). I told him I hope they do, because this can never be allowed to happen again.

Also, I made sure to tell him that masks that didn't work at the start of this virus don't magically work now that a few months have passed. The virus behaves like every other virus. Just because it has the word "corona" in front of it doesn't change the fact that it IS a VIRUS. This is NOT the first viral pandemic we have had in this country. It is not up to the governor to dictate what people can wear on their face. The box that the freaking masks come in even says that they are not effective in stopping viruses. This has been known since at least 2006. You cannot govern and deal with a pandemic based on the fact that LESS than 3% of all tests conducted in the state so far have been positive. I told him the state also needs to account for the fact that there were at least 2 months where every bored, out of work person just drove down to the drive in clinic to get tested, even if there was no chance they could have the virus. Now, they are saying that they don't have enough tests? Bullshit. People who didn't need tests took tests away from those that did. I also told him that the questionable reporting making it look like cases have increased is clearly suspect--you cannot mathematically have 100% of tests be positive. He also told me he knows that there was a testing site in Louisville that issued positive tests for PEOPLE THAT WERE NEVER TESTED. I also told him it was absolutely insane that people were calling 911 to report people not wearing masks. I said this is horrifying, and that the average person has no way to have recourse against these orders, which is wrong. He said that executive orders are NOT laws (correct) and are NOT enforceable by law enforcement. It is health departments who have been told to enforce it. He told his own employees (at a business he owns) that it was not their place to tell people to wear masks or not. He said if the health department shows up and wants people coming into his business to wear one, they can send someone to sit at his door themselves. I also asked what would happen to the state of emergency if the pandemic stops being a pandemic--which it probably soon would, if they stop faking/inflating the death reports. He said he wasn't sure. Also mentioned that the spike in cases was due to bored, out of work, rioting/protesting millennials, but that the death rate for those that got the virus is so low, it's almost impossible to calculate.

TLDR: Talked to KY state rep, KY AG is going after Furhrer Beshear's mask mandate in the next week or so, state rep expects it to be ruled unconstitutional. House also has plans to intro bill to curb gov's executive powers in emergencies in the future so this crap can't happen again.

Sorry for the long post. But please, I hope everyone calls their congress people/AGs/governors to account for this. They need to remember who they work for.
