I regularly cross check different counties with hugely different covid response measures...as a scientist (a real one, not an 'expert' fag), my continued observation is that covid measures and how aggressive they are do not impact case data or mortality data enough to rise above the noise - not in the raw numbers nor proportionally. It doesnt increase risk of death, but it doesnt decrease it either. Not at all...almost a year of data available now. pretty fucking conclusive lmao
