If one hears a claim made by the President on left-wing media which doesn't have an accompanying direct quote from the President (e.g. healthcare for those with pre-existing conditions), there is over a 90% chance they will find the President actually saying the exact opposite. It's gotten so bad that it is actually useful to run it though an inversion filter, i.e. the exact opposite of everything mangy stream media says about the President is a decent approximation of his actual platform and statements. That and many of the things the Dems are promising are obviously horrible. Anyone who is smarter than your average modernity mocking Hanna-Barbera 1960s cartoon character is voting for Trump, along with plenty of those who aren't (i.e. it's hard to imagine George Jetson and Fred Flintstone voting for the Dems this election.)
