It can be used to stop people in government ( local, state, and federal) from denying citizens their rights. In thus case, their right to vote.

I hope he invokes the insurrection Act TODAY if he hasn’t already. If he doesn’t and decides to just declassify stuff to prove crimes then walk away on the 20th, then this country dies. If the military does not arrest and prosecute, even members of congress, nothing he declassifies will matter. No amount of proof of conspiracy, sedition, or treason will matter after the 20th, because no one will be punished for it. Instead, Americans will be severely punished for exercising their rights.
I thought the state of colorado should do this after they legalized marijuana. Set up a bunch of exchanges near pot shops so persons could exchange u.s. dollars for gold/silver coins. Then, use those coins to purchase their “goods”.
Those pot shops could deposit the gold/silver coins into bank accounts and also pay their employees in those coins. Banks and employees could then exchang the coins for dollars at their leisure. This allows them to skirt many federal laws that may be used against them. Also, there would be no U.S. dollar income so the shops would avoid paying any federal taxes. The state could be the sole operators of the coin exchanges, and take a very small percentage for each exchange- just enough to cover operating costs.
I'd like to be able to say "fine, good riddance" but I know what would happen. Texas Treason a second time would never be forgiven. You'd all fucking hang. You will have forsaken your country and countrymen at the worst of times-When it needed you most. You would all be known forever as a state of cowards and traitors. History would forget the name Benedict Arnold, and replace it with Texan. From the day that you secede, until the end of time, the word Texan would be the insult used to describe the guy you thought was your friend that runs when a fight starts and never has your back.
You push for secession because you have no want to fight the good fight, to persevere, to stand up to tyrants. If ever there would be a time when a man will have his loyalty, integrity, honesty, and patriotism on display, or total lack thereof, it will be when Texans have to fight for their country or run and hide. You've already demonstrated, ahead of time, that you will chose the easy way. The safe way. The coward's way.
You remind me of someone I met on September 11, 2001. We had a Commander's Call a couple hours after those planes hit. The Colonel stood in front of us all and told us to be ready for very long term, very short notice deployments to anywhere. Update your wills, and dependent care plans. Make sure your bills will be paid when you are gone. He preached a bunch of other shit too. But, you remind me of this young lady that was a few spots ahead of me in the crowd. When the Commander told us to be ready to deploy, she turned to her friend and said "No way! I'm not going anywhere! I'm going to get myself pregnant!". Now that I think of it, her southern accent was probably Texan. The Colonel heard her and paused for a second to give her a death stare, then continued. Well, I deployed, and so did many others. She got herself pregnant, and did not deploy. What a little bitch. Just like you.
But, you shouldn't worry about my or other Americans reactions to Texas seceding as much as you should worry about the reaction of other Texans that are good patriotic Americans. A lot of Texans ARE loyal to their country, love the constitution, and would again fight to preserve and protect it, not abandon it. I can't imagine what they would do to you. I do know they would very much enjoy doing it though.

Whether you are a texas conservative, or a california liberal, if you advocate secession of your state, you are a fucking traitor. But, not just a traitor, the worst kind of traitor. You respond to acts of treason with further acts of treason, rather than acts of patriotism in support and defense of your country.
It MIGHT be a bust. It is worth trying though. Any amendment passed automatically becomes part of the constitution. Congress has no say or vote on it and no president can veto it.
The amendment or amendments can do almost anything. Create, restructure, or abolish any part of the federal government, make someone president for life. They can order the military to investigate, prosecute, and punish vote cheaters, fraudsters, insurrectionists, traitors, foreign collaborators, etc...
DO IT! Do it and use it or we the people lose everything.
Be a Lincoln, don’t be a Buchanan. If the President does not secure our rights, we the people will.
