A lot of them are asian tourists, too. Lots of grab and run robberies of tourists for their phones and cameras. They come over from Oakland, and disappear on BART back home. That's another statistic they don't share, how Oakland thugs use BART to commit crime in other areas of the bay - crimes rights rise anywhere there's a BART station.

I've survived a bunch of layoffs, they always suck - especially when you know they don't have to happen if the executive office cuts their pay, bonuses and spending.

Edited, I just looked at Twitter (I know, I know, I go there not logged in to verify posts and read threads, with a VPN), she doesn't work for HuffPost. She's virtue signaling for 47 useless twats, because that's easy to do when your paycheck is solid.

They have around 900 employees, after some poking around. But this is Buzzfeed clearing the decks for their people, since they bought them in November. So it's a piece of shit blogging company firing useless people from another piece of shit blogging company.

Try hard to find some sympathy...looking...nope. No fucks to give, at all.

I remember in the aftermath of 2008 when real workers were being laid off the same way, these smug cunts were saying things like "Just go back to college and retrain".

Karma, bitches.

Greybeards were the libertarians, I know a couple of them, back in the day.

And every single one of them will not be allowed to have ammo, or shoot. That's been done before.

I tend to think if the police and lawyers weren't involved, the father would have killed her already for dishonoring their family, because that's how they do.

No, they just gave Trump shit for not having a dog at all. Because they'll give him shit no matter what.

Seriously, this. GSs can get really flaky when abused, and they're massive, with incredibly hard bites. That dog should have never been brought to the White House.

A shelter GS? They're fucking INSANE having that dog around the White House without years of training and socializing. GSs are incredibly dangerous when they're shelter dogs. Does this family do anything right?

Feel bad for the agent, too, they didn't sign up for shit like that.

I hate them so fucking much. That poor dog. And it's probably the one who knocked him over when he fucked his foot up. It's pretty clear nobody can control it if it's fucking biting people. A dog from a shelter like that needs extensive rehab to discover and control bad behavior.

Maybe it'll bite Hunter in the dick.

I love Heinlein too, even though a lot of his actual swinging couple lifestyle has come to light since he passed. And his incest themes bothered me. But his writing...

You don't need mini-nukes for that, a medium sized one can do the job for all the neighborhoods in a region. What we need is a revolutionary breakthrough in battery tech, on the level of the transistor. Musk is touting his home batteries, but they're based off 18650 lithion batteries, which are dangerous if they overheat.

Robert Heinlein had a McGuffin in his book "Friday" called a Shipstone. It was a small power source that could power a rocket, or a home, or a flashlight. He didn't go into how it worked, and said that anyone who tried to open on got killed because it exploded. "more kilowatt-hours into a smaller space and a smaller mass than any other engineer had ever dreamed of. To call it an "improved storage battery" (as some early accounts did) is like calling an H-bomb an "improved firecracker." They were cheap, and scaled up or down. I'd like to believe that's what Musk is aiming for, but is hampered by our current battery tech. We really need new kinds of batteries, because we've pushed the limit of what we have. The PTB don't want cheap, easily accessed energy, but it'll come, one way or another. It just needs a genius to make the breakthrough. Then the universe is ours.

If you're a tool user, you're infinitely better off than Cast Away. But those skills are lacking in younger generations these days.

You're a special kind of kook, aren't you?

FireannDireach 11 points ago +12 / -1

I think the problem here is you. Who told you it's your job to attack their beliefs? How would you feel if I harassed you over UFOs? You'd be butthurt as hell, and you know it.

I'm an atheist. It's not my job to attack Christian's faith, and I don't argue with them about it. It ain't my job, and it's not yours, either.

She knows. That's why she's doing it here, and not in the UK. Her husband knows how his family deals with anything that threatens them.

I wanted to do things to his narcissist ass with heavy objects like baseball bats that would land me in jail when he was all giddy and giggly with news anchors last year. The man is a menace. And a murderer.

That rule only seems to apply to Trump.

See: Roberts.

The Dems seem to be selectively following the Constitution, but we'll see. I don't like a 1 billion giveaway, but HR-1 is of way, way, way more concern right now.

FireannDireach 12 points ago +12 / -0

Not to mention it's not law yet. And when it does get signed into law, it's a case that will need to go to the SCOTUS, and the average person does not have the funds to do that.

Argue with the rest of the state who disagrees with you, then. Or keep neck bearding - but with someone else.

The guards and walls aren't for the White House. They're for Congress, who are bigger cowards than he is. The White House has had barricades and a wall and Secret Service with missiles on the roof for decades.
