"Mid-stater" here. Everywhere that you see blue on that map, they are heavily enforcing the governor's illegal COVID mitigation decrees.

I live in a red county bordering a huge blue county. Our bars and restaurants are open and thriving due to the draw of the liberal commies from the shutdown county. It's the type of redistribution of wealth that a guy can really get behind.

Classic Trump Move -- Have a baby on the last day of the year so you can claim him on taxes for the whole year. That's how you win!

That's extremely insightful

Or does it take more courage to be the person that you would hope the world is? Cowardice? Maybe you are right. I've lived through crippling anxiety. I've lived through my son almost killing himself. I've drank myself to the point of being hospitalized. I've prayed for death many times. I think I like smiling better. But that's just me. I'll stick with being a coward. Thank you for your viewpoint though. I'm glad we all have them.

(I even slipped you an upvote for your honesty and candor)

I think there isn't much of a difference between a mental breakdown and achieving enlightenment. I am feeling the perspective on the other side must feel very much the same.

I should also mention that with my newfound perspective, came an unwelcome ability to feel my emotions. Damn ninjas and their onions

Nor should he! I'm counting on him for four more years.

I'm not "fixed" but my perspective has definitely changed after 43 years on this earth. Trust me when I say, if I can do it, so can you!

My least favorite way of people starting a conversation these days is "hey, did you read..."
