ANECDOTE ALERT: I received a call at my work (I work in an HR office) from an employee who was planning on driving to Joe Biden's "rally" in Miramar, FL today. He said that he spent half a tank of gas to get there and informed that he could not find the event and had to ask the local police department where it was, and they allegedly had no idea where it would be.. Later, he found the location for the "rally" but was turned away by what he described was either secret service or FBI because the event was INVITE ONLY! All I could tell him (because orange man bad) was "aww, shucks, how disappointing that must have been!" and I just had to play dumb and say "wow, I wonder why Biden would make his rally invite-only so close to the election, in a swing state?.. anyways, please wait a full pay period for your direct deposit to become effective. Have a nice day!"
