I don't know the answer but I'll say this, I've never seen anything like these storms before and I've lived in California most of my life. We sometimes get heavy rain and flooding and sometimes get high winds but never both to this extent at the same time that I've witnessed. The winds were so high and the ground so saturated that huge trees were just falling over or some were snapping in two. I think we hit 80 mph wind gusts some of the days.

My theory is it may relate to the Grand solar minimum and mini ice age somehow but i don't know enough to make a true case to connect these events to that.

I think anyone who doesn't report the incident within a timely manner, days to weeks, is pretty suspect in general. Weeks would only be if they had to physically move to a new location to be sure they're safe before reporting. I guess unless he was such a mob boss guy they all said they couldn't talk but i didn't follow it closely, I'm just seeing now how more verdicts are coming out

Please consider taking your talents to Twitter this kind of stuff is too good to only get the mild number of upvotes it's getting here. Best way to get engagement there is to go into threads about relevant topics then start your own little thread there, that's where most of my likes come from.

One of the rules now is that you can't wish violence on others, I actually think it's fine if they actually fairly enforce this rule for everyone equally. I know it seems dumb over a comment like this, but what I've done is just think of how I can rephrase things if I want to say something like this. You could still say something I think like the country would be better off if Joe Biden choked on a turkey leg. At least I've gotten away with stuff like that, it seems like if you call for or actively wish for violence they will ban the tweet but there are still ways to get around it by changing the language a bit.

Yes, I'm from California so plenty familiar with the tech scene. I've worked for silicon valley companies in the past where the CTO was basically a tyrant that could rival a middle eastern dictator. One guy in particular would go into screaming fits and have all kinds of breakdowns over really pretty small things. I wouldn't say I was made to work excessively long hours but sometimes I was bothered during the middle of the night, etc and they treated Indian visa workers like absolute slaves.

It's been a while since I've even spent any time in that area but back then it was definitely a workaholic culture and very cutthroat and it was all about making money not putting politics first necessarily. This was before the clown world stuff took off and therefore obviously before Trump ran for office so I'm guessing that's the time when it really started to change.

LinkedIn is pretty lit these days if you have the right people in your network. Sometimes some of the stuff I see there now I have to question whether I'm on LinkedIn or on this site lol. I think LinkedIn heavily suppresses conservative content though unless you are in a network with a lot of other conservatives so try to build your network up if you're not seeing the right stuff
