A US civil war isn't going to be two sides lining up and fighting. It's going to be IEDs, drive-by shootings, flash mobs mass murdering people.

What are the options?

Move to a Republican state? That only postpones the problem.

Move to another country? Which one? Russia? Poland? Israel?

The problem with FULLY dismantling the police, is that there would be nobody left to prosecute normal people who defend themselves. There probably will still be some police left to enforce anarcho-tyranny.

There was a group trying to resist, but they were the Proud Boys. All of them were either FBI informants or now in jail for Jan 6.

No judge would have the balls to overturn the conviction on appeal.

And the ones that don't quit are going to stop arresting anyone who resists. "Whoops, he got away, too bad."

They got what they wanted. They intimidated the jury. They got to prove they can riot, loot, arson, destroy property without consequences.

You mean start acting like complete retards? How is that going to help?

And the precedent has been set, threats of violence against jurors gets a guilty verdict.

It's called a "work-to-rule" strike. This way, you still get paid, but still get to grind things to a halt.

They eliminated qualified immunity for police in Chiago? Just like NYC did?

Taking riots to the suburbs is harder for two reasons. First, there's gun ownership. Second, the DA and police usually aren't cucked,

Also, if someone has a bigger lot and yard, it's more obvious when someone has criminal intent. Shooting someone who jumped over a fence or who's on your lawn is easier to justify.

Democrat states seem to be trying to make things as easy as possible for rioters and looters, while states like Florida are passing strict anti-riot laws. I guess I have to move to Florida?

There isn't much "more" to escalate. If they start drive-by shootings of police, then police are going to start responding with lethal force. If they go into suburban areas, there are people armed and prepared to defend their homes.

You would almost definitely get arrested and prosecuted. The police tend to show up fast when someone starts injuring rioters.

Sometimes, after a hung jury, you get a plea bargain. I don't see that happening for Chauvin.

I wonder if a juror could sue them for doxxing, if their name did get out? If the social media platforms have a pattern of doxxing people, maybe they could get through their Section 230 protection?

I.e., someone posts a juror's identity on reddit. It gests 100k upvotes and makes the front page. Then Reddit is actively promoting the doxxing, not just passively accepting content posted by users.

They sign long-term TV contracts. They locked in a rate based on when their ratings were higher. The current contracts expire in 2025, so they won't take a pay cut until 2025 (if their ratings stay down).

A hung jury is not the same as acquittal. With a hung jury, the prosecution gets to try again. For a politically-motivated prosecution like this one, they will keep trying, even after multiple hung juries.

It's also better for Trump to pick the next President than trying to run again himself. Whoever Trump endorses becomes the instant frontrunner.

My favorite conspiracy theory is that the vaccine makes you SUSCEPTIBLE to the next bioweapon virus. A badly designed (or intentionally misdesigned) vaccine means that your immune system will overreact the next time you are exposed to the virus.
