He wont run in 2024. This was done for a reason.

They couldnt get him on Russia, impeachment, or tax evasion, so they get him on having classified docs, and if you're convicted you cant run. It will rally us round Desantis though.

I'm sick of people always defending duvets. Enough if this duvet cover!

I thought it was silly until I read the end.

"scientists warn"

Dude. They're scientists. We should trust every single thing they say. Always, and blindly.

Okay. Well Western Catholics and Protestants make up the vast bulk of American Christians. To say that they're not Christians at all is absurd.

The Germans weren't even worshipping Ēostre 1500 years after the Christian Easter. They were long since Christianized by then. How could it have come about then. As per the link, the months had these names already in use as late as the 5th century. You're over a thousand years off.

The only explanation is that Ēostre was German first, and then adopted by Christianity.

I never compared it to Ishtar, which was a middle Eastern deity. I was referring to the Germanic goddess Ēostre.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%92ostre

Germanic peoples named the month of April after her. This is why we still celebrate Easter in this month and call it that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Germanic_calendars#Months

Christians celebrate Easter, which is named after a pagan fertility goddess. The word has no connection to Christianity. The celebrate Christmas using trees, carrying on pagan traditions before it.

This is a pretty common thing that all religions do as they expand. People dont want to give up customs, so to attract converts the religion incorporates other customs.

I would like to see a scientific study into the correlation between Northern European women's physical beauty and the number of letters in their surname.

Is this the Bee or something else?

OP, dont be a dick by cutting off the source. Give credit where its due so we can look up more based content.

I dont think a stance on the wall is a defining trait of Republican. Traditionally, they have been the pro-immigration party, even when they werent RINO-infested. Just like how Sanders used to be very anti-immigration. Even though I am too, I recognize that its a fairly fluid thing that you could take either position on whether you're left or right wing.

Even though I think Joe 100% cheated, and there are so many things that point to it, the fact is that it was never proven. In light of that, it may be understandable that he ceded on 1/6. That again doesnt prove RINOness.

You say she's Trump voting though? Or was that a typo?

I care because it's making movies shit.

Something everyone seems to agree on is that movies and tv have gotten much worse in recent years. The only question is by how much.

But more importantly, yes, it's indoctrination. It makes no sense to say that its unimportant, because the reason they're putting it in there is because they think its important to do so.

I really don't think you would see many white people defend a shitty white person doing shitty things just because they're white.

Obviously we are only praising him to hide our racism. /s

Yes, in hindsight I remember thinking this too. I thought when people saw he wasnt the crazy radical who was going to do all this shit they said like deport all tbe black people (we forget this now, but yes in 2016 all the left was saying this) and institute literal national socialism, folks would realise that theyd been lied to and reject both parties. Because really he was a centrist when you look at policy, not even right wing as myself and most here probably are. Nope. Their only recourse was to hate even harder, and contrary to my hopes/beliefs the divide only grew.

You know its kinda funny that libs are also saying this about their own party with equal pessimism, and that both sides are saying it about the opposing party as well but with equal optimism.

I dont mean that any of it isnt true, but when everybody across the political aisle agrees that both parties are imploding you can sense a revolution.

2nd term Presidents have a magnitude more power than a 1st term because they don't need to hold back anymore.

This is why he shouldnt have Desantis as VP. When VP is the next nominee, its seen like a continuation of the same presidency, and the same holding back is necessary.

Plus he's doing amazing work in Florida and only just getting started, while VPs dont really fucking do anything.

Yeah see thats a channel that is mainly popular with conaervatives. Seeing a lone wayward lefty comment there positively about Trump and getting a positive response is no big deal. There are sometimes former Trump supporters who say "I get it now" on lefty channels and they get praised as well. It would be a very different story if it happened on a left-wing channel. I know Russell is not right wing himself but his audience is and they determine the votes.
