I have been doing 18-20 hour fasts for some time and you are absolutely right. I notice the increase in mental acuity the most. I have a laser-like focus on my tasks now. When I eat candy or have a soda (which is not often now), I really notice how it drags down my body....almost like when you put bad gasoline in your car.
The problem is that you have to be ready to be labeled a terrorist like people in January were. It will take a LOT of standing up together and not backing down.
