Richard Barris (The People's Pundit guy) has talked a bunch about the tendency for people within the MAGA movement to get something like a hero complex where they think "There's an issue and I'm the only one who can fix it", instead of just throwing their energy behind someone else who is already trying to fix things. That's what causes MAGA candidates to lose out to RINOs and that's what's happening here in my opinion.
I don't doubt that Mike really wants to help; but I think this will fail. Let's not forget, Trump is supposedly working on something too. We already had other alternatives besides GAB as well.
It would be a bad move for him to run again. The left would easily be able to get a turnout of people who don't want to see a "return of Hitler", and they'd find new ways to energize people to want to cheat again. We need somebody the media hasn't had 5+ years to demonize.
At the moment, I think DeSantis has the best shot; but what I really fear is both he and Trump getting in the race and effectively taking each other out while splitting MAGA.

You're right, he's not stupid; but I would say he is ignorant to a lot of the issues surrounding the vaccines. He's in his 70's and was spending most of his time running a country and depending on others to give him pertinent info. He saw vaccines as a way to reduce fear and open the country faster. I'm sure that's how they were pushed to him by Fauci, Birx, and Pence. He also likes to remind people about every success he's had, and getting vaccines out in less than a year when some people said it could take 5 is something he see's as one.

Very good point. I think they saw Zuckerberg do what he did in the 2020 election and started to get excited for what they could do in the future. Even the smallest amount of resistance to that seems to have scared them.
This was my first thought right after I heard the news. There's no way this won't prejudice the jury, especially when they're already leaning to convict. That would that probably leady to the defense calling a mistrial, which would lead to more of this.
The truth of the whole things is most likely that Chauvin was an asshole who was used to abusing his power while at the same time he was not responsible for Floyd's death.
The founders thought the first ten amendments were so absolute that they debated weather or not they should even be numbered and written down in the law. The thought was that people would stop seeing them as inalienable rights, or that they would see them as the only rights that citizens could have.
Taking the high road and reaching across the aisle are great and should be done when possible; but we no longer live in times where they are. The Democrats who would have met us on that level are gone, and there were very few of them anyway. Reaching across the aisle will get you killed if the only things on the other side are snakes.
I have no doubt that a small percent of society has issues with what body they where born with, and I have no doubt that for some of them it can cause a great deal of psychological stress, and maybe for a very small percentage of that percentage "transitioning" is the only way to fix things for them; but this is an abnormality. It's not anything that should be pushed or celebrated.

The scary part for me though is that I don't think this is being guided by the CIA. I don't think they have to be told to do this crap. They just do.
The media has it's role to play as well. Several of these are probably copycats who want their name to be known to the whole world. There have been several studies, including one done by the FBI, showing that the way the media reports on shootings causes more shootings to happen. Groups have tried to get them to do it differently; but the media doesn't care about actually saving any lives.
Ran into this issue with them a while back. I signed up a long time ago without a photo ID. all of a sudden they required me to submit one or my account would be frozen. I went back and forth with them for quite a while, and they could never tell me the exact reason they needed my ID after over a decade of not caring about it.
My only questions are: what are Jenner's opinions on lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine passports, election integrity, and children being given hormone blockers (I have heard trans people come out against it in the past)?

I thought it was generally known that pregnant women should be very careful about getting vaccines of any kind due to them possibly affecting the baby (just like a lot of medications). I would think that would be double for a vaccine that was just released and had very little testing.
The correct answer to most "Why aren't people saying / doing anything about this?" questions is because they don't know it's going on. We have a media the deliberately under-reports on, mis-reports on, or just hides information they politically disagree with.
It all depends on their political leanings. Works the same way for "white Hispanic" people.
Essential shops and services, like essential workers? So that's the stuff that was allowed to remain open this whole time, where the most people gather? Those are the places you don't have to have the vaccine for the virus causing a global pandemic?
Just step away for a bit. Don't lie about anything but try as hard as you can to not be confrontational about it. Let them stop being friends with you if that's their choice, don't stop being friends with them. They may come around eventually. Until then just give them some space.
