yes I am from Germany and I know what Merkel said but we have experience with GDR as well which is similar to US now - took around 40 years to remove. The only thing you can do: fight for proper election regulations - anything else is waste of time at the moment and you can hope for just a "miracle".
They do not need to care what people think because they control election results anyway. So from a viewpoint far away I have to say: it is normal to have hope for a "quick fix" of current terrible situation but reality is much more sad unfortunately and things might get more worse from now and it might need decades for a solution :(

terrible thing for sure. Hopefully investigation will bring some light on this in next months. I am wondering what was the main reason people did this: did Trump call them in his speech to enter Capitol? I have seen it live online and he said: "walk down to Capitol and we are gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women". It was a bit weird but in context of full speech not an serious issue in my opinion.
In first video these are Antifa guys in my opinion: hat around, mask guys, black clothes.
I am from Germany and I am really shocked about their responses. In any case the president of the US is calling - you have to be prepared and give all kind of answers. That alone was a huge insult.
