FTA: Democratic representative Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., received jeers from voters at a town hall here Monday morning as the vulnerable Democrat explained her decision to support two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump when the full House votes on them Wednesday.
Slotkin, who was undecided on impeachment until Monday, after taking the weekend to make up her mind on how she would vote, said she has came to the conclusion that she will vote to impeach Trump after reviewing the two articles of impeachment passed by the House Judiciary Committee.
During the raucous hour-long event, Slotkin was consistently interrupted with boos from Trump backers, and disapointed followers."
My Comment: Time to seek removal when your Representative no longer represents the will of the voters who elected them.
Looks like the female in the photo needs to shave that mustache
FTA: "The House Judiciary Committee released its full report on the impeachment case against President Trump early Monday.
Why it matters: The 658-page report highlights the reasons behind the two articles of impeachment against Trump — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Its publication is required so the House can consider the articles ahead of a vote, expected Wednesday.
Welcome home Jeff Van Drew.
This is the obvious OUT for the 31 at risk Democrats.... switch to the party of rationality, sanity and truth where you will be free of the Schumer, NP, Schiff and Nader stain. Your courage will be recognized and rewarded.
It's not totally in Graham's hands. McConnell more or less will determine what direction the Senate action on an impeachment referral will take.
FTA: "Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has just dropped a sunlight grenade into the prosecution of Michael Flynn with a jaw-dropping request letter (full pdf below) to FBI Director Christopher Wray. [Judiciary Link Here]
Within the letter Chairman Grassley outlines a prior briefing from fired FBI Director James Comey to the Senate Judiciary Committee, and contrasts the false presentations of Comey -regarding Michael Flynn- against recently known evidence."
FTA: "While the media and his critics focused on the bitterly divided House impeachment hearings, President Trump this week collected the most agenda wins yet, policy victories, including some backed by Democrats, that bolster arguments he’s making for reelection, according to advisers and analysts.
From adding judges to foreign policy, trade, immigration, defense spending, and China, Trump added several more achievements he will tout when he hosts his next campaign rally, standing in front of a 2020 “Promises Kept” sign.
"It was one of his best weeks yet," said a key White House adviser."
FTA: "It is exactly as we thought it would be. There are multiple interests, nuances in details, a completely overlooked big picture, and the financial pundits are flummoxed.
CTH has followed the granular details over several years. In advance of a “phase one” announcement we noted a necessary paradigm shift needed to understand most of the dynamics at play [SEE HERE]. It is all going according to a very visible plan."
LOL ... the Bee is a parody site.... news that is close to the truth, but not quite true.
FTA: "A photographer who took photos of GOP paperwork while the impeachment hearing was on break has been removed from the impeachment hearing.
Reuter’s photographer Josh Roberts was tossed from the hearing after he was caught on CNN’s live feed (see below), taking photos of different paperwork left on the desks of the Republican Congressmen during a break in the hearing.
Rep. Matt Gaetz announced (see video below) that the photographer had been removed from the hearing:"
FTA: "The Supreme Court has agreed to hear President Donald Trump’s appeals in cases requesting the top court to block the House and a Manhattan investigation from having access to his financial records.
The top court justices met in a private conference on Friday to discuss whether to hear Trump’s appeals of lower court decisions that require his accounting firm Mazars USA and two banks to comply with the subpoenas issued by the House and a New York District attorney in a grand jury probe."
Should have been arrested, but ordinary citizens are the only people who get arrested these days.
"... we found here don't vindicate anybody ...."
Probably means Horowitz, himself. He appears to have compromised his ethics and the oath of trust and promise of independence conferred on an Inspector General.
Much was expected of Horowitz, but little and small was the person for the prodigious responsibilities reposed there in. A small man with ethical and moral challenges in a job too big for him and not enough guts to request replacement.
This is not insignificant. IF the Dem lose the House in the 2020 elections, what is their next move? Will Q say 2020 is all about the House?
No irony there....
Is Jim Acosta one of them?
Father's day picture with young son wearing Mossad t-shirt. Nice. Did Mossad give you POTUS and his lawyer's confidential phone accounts?
FTT: "So now it appears Max Rose (NY) and Dan Kildee (MI) are joining Heff Van Dybe (NJ), Cindy Axnie (IA), & 1other IA congresswoman in opposing impeachment.
Brindisi (NY) & Horn (OK) are under water. Are they going to support?
Looks like Botoxic akready down to a margin of 10"
Amazing poll results posted by the NYT .....
FTA: A new New York Times/Siena College poll has more bad news for Democrats. The poll found that swing-state voters who voted for Democrats in 2018 plan to vote for President Trump in the 2020 election:
“Nearly two-thirds of voters in six battleground states who voted for President Trump in 2016 — but for Democratic congressional candidates in 2018 — say they intend to back the president against each of his top rivals, according to recent polling,”
Well..... I would not expect the FISC judges to say anything.
Meanwhile, I would expect CJ Roberts who is solely responsible for oversight of the FISA judges to make some sort of statement and / or take some sort of corrective action against those who participated in the FISC fraud..... oh, wait ....
