The best way to keep power at the state level is to keep taxes at the state level, and have the Feds beg the states for more money. The Federal government is way too strong and continuously threatens to withhold money that was earned inside the state itself, unless the state does what the Feds want. I am not sure why states have allowed themselves to be threatened for so long thinking it's just fine.
Moronic. There is a legal war being fought everyday. Conservatives need to participate in government, get involved in elections, go to city council meetings, etc.
Half of the calls to violence on this site are by agent provocateurs trying to manipulate someone into doing something they know they shouldn't. I was there when T_D was shut down. Posters were demanding armed action, but if you looked at their post history, they were from the UK. One of the main activists that got T_D shut down was a black female student from the UK. In other words, T_D posters demanding people resort to violence were plants.
I don't believe anyone advocating wholesale murders is a "patriot" just doing their duty.
Protests at night are not protests. Protesters want to be seen and heard and get their message out. They don't cover themselves in riot gear, wear black from head to toe, and throw bottles of concrete. Anything that happens at night is a riot or at minimum a public disturbance.
It's long overdue for law enforcement to do it's job and clear the streets of idiots and keep them clear. 17 year old shooters are not supposed to be doing what the police are paid to do by all of us taxpayers, namely to not shoot people but arrest them and make sure streets are safe for traffic and pedestrians who need to get to their job. Some people work nights, by the way. I'm not sure the news media, law enforcement, or political leaders understand when a mob takes over the streets at night, normal people cannot get to their job or come home safely.
We are paying for law enforcement's salary, benefits, and retirement. We are doing the same for elected leaders. We pay for a National Guard as well. We pay billions for all of that. None of these riots should be allowed to start, let alone get completely out of control.
Corporate media is entirely narrative-based and exists to get Democrats elected. It reflects the worldview of the virtue signalling corporate "elites" that run big media. Embarrassing doesn't even start to describe it, if the media were a doctor he would be served with malpractice lawsuits on a daily basis.
Yeah, screw these guys. The average American has almost no representation in the system.
From the article: *Utah GOP Sen. Mike Lee is pushing the outsourcing bill, and it would allow U.S. and Indians firms to reward 60,000 Indian workers a year with citizenship — if they agree to take Americans’ jobs at low wages. The bill would also encourage many additional Indians to take sweatshop jobs in the United States via the little-known OPT, CPT, B1, and TN work visas so they can compete for entry into the H-1B green-card program.
U.S. investors, Indian outsourcing companies, and the Indian government have put at least 600,000 Indians into U.S. college jobs — and also have sent at least one million more jobs to India — via this little-recognized “U.S.-Indian Outsourcing Economy”
This expanding industry is having a huge impact on the salaries and job prospects of middle-aged American professionals, just as factory-job outsourcing had a huge impact on Americans in the Midwest. *
I can think of one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Justine_Damond
The only thing leftists will pick is the maximum amount of hysteria to get as much power for themselves as possible no matter who has to pay the price for it. It should be clear to reasonable people, of which there are fewer and fewer, that any draconian measures needed to be applied to the at-risk group, which in this case is people with pre-existing conditions and those over 65, which is basically the same risk group for flu complications. Everyone else could take basic precautions with no lockdown or quarantine.
Trump did what he could in a politically impossible situation. If he did nothing, he would be blamed for mass fatalities. If he locked everything down for months, so much damage would occur, creating so much unhappiness and despair, that he would be blamed for that, too, and any fatalities on top of it.
This is the problem with having a 98% democrat-voting media whose job is now to only get democrats elected, not to report what is actually taking place.
Because all of the companies in the USA are run by multi-millionaires who have to prove how awesome and wonderful they are all the time, and how liberal and progressive they are to their other millionaire friends. It really is that simple. Companies are in a big contest to out-woke each other because of the mentality of the people who run them. They don't care one bit about the workers when it comes time for cost cutting, but they can stand proudly for "social justice". It's a joke.
