She specifically said she was listing it for the people who didn't know. She never minimalized it, justified it, or gave any opinion on it.
His attack on the media was spot-on in general, but didn't apply to what she had said, which was actually a good thing for anyone watching who wasn't familiar with the doctored evidence.
She was merely informing viewers what he was talking about in case they didn't know.
He misinterpreted her description of the context as belittling the items she listed, which she wasn't doing. She offered no opinion, and tried to say multiple times that she was letting the viewers who hadn't followed the case what they were talking about.
Don't get me wrong. He was awesome in the impeachment, and the media, for the most part, can burn in hell for all I care. But he totally misunderstood her, didn't listen to her multiple attempts to clarify, continued to criticize her for something she didn't do, and basically made an ass of himself with his misunderstanding that he quadrupled down on.

Aside from her, which is probably beyond recovery - you should work on that friend-zone problem. If that happens a lot, then you have something to think about because that means you're consistently doing the wrong thing with women you're interested in.
You probably know that it's far better to keep them wondering if you're interested, or how much, than it is to make sure they know. There's no harm in not letting them know (if they're interested in you), but letting them know you're interested in them (too soon or too much) can ruin everything.
