Maybe time has passed me up, but i personally only use violence in a retaliatory manner towards threats to myself or those around me. I think we need to back off from violence unless it is warranted and with in the law. We are a country of laws. Fuck optics i dont care about what some fake news says about me, but striking everything that looks like a hostile target will absolutely net you some innocent victims, and unfortunately when reacting with violence you cant take it back.

Yeah my wife is an accountant for a oil company in texas, and i gotta say, oil companies take great care of their employees. Literally our HSA is employer matched up to 1500 a year, the 401k is 7% match and then some (sorry fuzzy on details) and she gets like 6 weeks vacation a year. There are other details ive forgotten and she makes 73k a year and a bonus that is 10 to 20 %of her salary annually. needless to say she gets better perks fresh out of college than her father does teaching at a major college in texas with many years of experience (and head of his department)

The news always says "right wing extremeist rams protesters with car" and "police fail to de-escalate the situation" but fail to talk about the other side, protesters refuse to quit illegally impending traffic and man refuses to quit resisting after being offered to have windows rolled down, ac turned on, then being pinned on the ground, tased and finally shot when reaching into car. Its 2 sides. One side is tired of the other sides bullshit, so yeah we drive slowly threw illegal protests and yeah our cops shoot criminals who refuse to de-escalate the situation and put our cops lifes in danger.
