Should enact policy preventing people from voting in elections for a few years after moving so they can acclimate to the local culture. I think TX is safe for now, but it is very frustrating seeing stupid people bring their stupid policies with them. Let's hope for the best Nov 3rd!
Oh yeah, agreed. Still vote, but don't count on it actually getting counted. Other people have had different experiences voting in CA so maybe I just got unlucky. But, this was the Reagan Library so you would think the standards would be pretty high there....
Maybe it is different in other places, but I went to the Reagan Presidential Library thinking that if there was a legitimate process, there would be one there. I was wrong and to me that doesn't bode well for the processes in other locations.
I waited 4 hours to vote only to find out the process is no better than mail-ins. Fuck.
There were zero measures in place to prevent fraud, I could have filled out a ballot and claimed I'm you and they would have accepted it. They didn't even look up to see if I was registered to vote.
It was such a joke man, I had no idea it could be this bad.
