It would have been absurd for our ancestors to have expected to earn their freedom by checking a booth in a box and calling it a day. American freedom isn't given by some disembodied authority. It exists in our hearts and minds and can only be taken by force.
Trump did a great job considering almost everyone in power opposed his every move along with a relentless and complete media smear campaign. Only one man in a million could weather a storm like that and come out smiling. I would have liked for him to go down swinging if that's how it had to be, but I can't expect everything and I don't begrudge the man for stepping out of the ring. He has earned my respect and I wish him godspeed.
I don't know where we go from here but its clear to me from the election that at least half of the country still believes in the values of freedom, liberty, and the american way. The other half seems to have been propagandized so heavily, they wish to destroy the foundations of western civilization itself. I am anxious about where we are now headed, but I stand with millions of other angry americans who have not forgotten that their heritage is the fight against tyranny. I stand with you. I was a socialist in college because of course I was. Once Ron Paul ran for president in 2008 I started listening to libertarian arguments and couldn't refute them. After that I was a die hard libertarian. When I saw what the media did to someone who was about as perfect a politician as you can get in Ron Paul, I became cynical towards politics and stopped voting. I didn't believe the system would allow any real americans to get anywhere near the corridors of power.
When Trump beat Hillary I was shocked to my core. I still don't know how he did it. I know she cheated and still managed to lose. But what came next was just as surprising. Donald Trump actually cutting regulations, actually drawing down troops, actually keeping his promises??!? Watching what they put that man, his family, and every patriotic american through the last 4 years has made my blood boil!
We have been silent for too long. Now they want to steal this election and hand over the land our ancestors bled and died for to China in the name of communism?? We ARE at war. Fighting evil and tyranny is the birthright of all red blooded americans. I am ready. Standing by.
