This is beautiful. Thank you. The left has no self reliant philosophy. Trump and Conservatism teaches us to be strong. Reddit continually makes fun of our "pull yourself up by bootstraps" way of thinking. But, without that sense of ownership and responsibility, how can a person become the best version of themselves? We need to teach people how to believe in themselves again. Otherwise, we are all doomed.

I've gone back to old school way of consuming content: seeking forums and fan sites, direct visits to news web sites. No more filtering via aggregation and second hand links (except when it comes from this glorious site).

I'm in Northern Mississippi meeting my girlfriend's parents. Her father is an old school engineer who thinks he's better than his Southern heritage. For the sake of my g/f, I need to grin and pretend that I don't support Trump.
Chick fil-A can donate to whomever they wish, and I can eat wherever I want. It's about public image. My problem is how the left will tout this as a win. And I do not want to support that image/perspective. This is just another reminder not to align oneself with any corporate identity.

Over 40, and one time liberal and atheist. Thank God for Conservatism and Trump. Both changed my life. Conservatism teaches responsibility over self. I have literally sabotaged my own life multiple times due to bad decision making and was even homeless for a short time. Now I earn over 125k a year. This is why I don't buy the lazy fallacy from younger folks who think the system is designed to keep them down.
I just want to thank the pretender, Robert de Niro, for helping me realize that he's no better than a drug pusher. His profession sells an addictive product made be people who also demand to be worshipped. How his opinion matters more than yours or mine just because he plays pretend for a living is lost on me. We are truly living in ? world and ignoring passive fiction entertainment is my way of making my own sane bubble within the madness.

On Reddit, I feel like a stranger in a strange land. I think the user demographic has shifted towards a younger and more international user base. R/All's daily assault on Trump and America is tiresome. The daily deluge of violent videos and gifs and people being entertained by human misfortune and acceptable racism (black people twitter, etc) is not something I want in my life. Good riddance Reddit. .
The media lying so much can be a double edged sword. It was the constant negativity directed towards President Trump that first got me curious about him. It was the lying media that turned me into a Trump supporter.
Just look at how she has let herself go. That's the look of three years of daily hatred for the POTUS and half the country. We live rent free inside her head and it's literally transforming her into a pig.

Maybe this has been already stated elsewhere, and maybe this could be considered censorship, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not turn this site into Voat. Free speech is valuable, but is less effective without good judgment. We here represent GEOTUS and the wider Conservative movement. Let the truth shine through your memes and let that be an example of what free speech should be. It's something more than just being able to say a few offensive or taboo words.
We need to be the keepers of these old books. Digital media can never be trusted. Make hard copies of everything!
