The comments here are ridiculous. Perhaps 70% of the people who are overweight are overweight because of bad nutrition or lack of exercise or lack of motivation. But what about the rest?
I eat two meals a day if I’m lucky. I have severe health problems, I have a thyroid problem, and I have no health insurance. I’m overweight and I can’t do anything about it right now because of my health problems and I do not overeat.
Also, had coronavirus and was fine in about five days.

As I had stated in another comment let’s never jump to conclusions about someone overweight and the causes of it.
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis. When I got Covid a year ago in March I was over the symptoms in five days but I wasn’t over the exhaustion for four more months.
But I guess I’m a special person because I’ve never taken a dime of government money about any of my illnesses and I work every single day six days a week.
