It's winter so i expect lower production HOWEVER its been really bad. I have 10 different breeds, 1-3 years old, so basically a good variety. I may try to supplement to see if that helps. I dont like putting extra light in as it can cause more problems than its worth.
I rented out my old condo for a few years when I moved several years ago. If you do your due diligence and find solid renters its really not bad at all. Just find a contract online, modify as you see fit, sign it and you are good. Just make sure that if your township/city/etc. requires an inspection before renting to get that done. Other consideration is that if you are moving far away from the home you may want to hire a property management company. If you do that, its 100% hands off for you but they take a chunk of the rent but its worth it.
Just got ours on back last night. Was not bad. We are fortunate enough to have a 4000W generator and a very capable woodburning stove. Solar setup powered the tankless hot water heater. We had a good time.
