sure, however there's a clear dichotomy and unlike an ancient voting system, the way its used in my field is black is bad/harmful and white is good/safe. those colors are not descriptive of what they're intended to represent. Master branches or whatever don't represent race (unless you twist to make it so) where clearly white and black do. I'm gonna stay where I am on this.
I'm in tech, its really weird that master is being scrubbed. I do security stuff and whitelist/blacklist are common. I go out of my way to say allow-list or deny-list because I think that's reasonable. removing master is fucking stupid.
yeah SF was a pretty badass city. I think the decline is what I call the Boeing effect. when there's an industry in the area that pays highly but is hard to get into, you'll get this dual-class thing going and noone, even the offspring of the Boeing employees will like the upper class (who are generally hard workers). in SF's case, unlike North Seattle, which I'd the poster child for the Boeing effect, the techies themselves also often (but not always...) hate themselves as well. this fosters a local culture of hating anything successful, it's just on steroids in SF.
commercial jets or things with "black boxes" will record internal comms. I sounds like this fella was actually transmitting on a hot mic. I don't think smaller "personal" aircraft record everything but who knows. source: "I played flight simulator a long time ago"
he's going to try to cancel some green beret who has a silver star that should be a MoH (and the rest of group knows it). it's not going to go well.
that being said, we used to put that we wanted all of our pallbearers to be black 18D from scuba teams.
my wife and I are kinky folks; I was shocked to see that a whole bunch if kink related subreddits which are 99% political dumpster fires all went private in protest of reddit behavior hiring a pedo and banning users talking about it. quite a red pill being dropped by ol spezzypoo.
why do you need a PhD to be a computer scientist? I have an autotech certificate and am a computer scientist
