No, White people were "indentured servants, forced to work" black people were slaves, forced to work. See the difference?

Drivers License, says convicted felon on it if that is the case, no gun, everyone else, good to go.

There is a reason for that. Probably the sudden demand, but this is why UBC sucks. If the system is down, that's their problem, not yours. Its a scam. They don't even prosecute people who lie on it. They have no motivation to keep it up.

They have 300K Chinese people living in the north where it broke out. Given their total population in Italy, that's significant. It also occurred as many were coming back from canceled Chinese new year celebrations.

We definitely need more immigration though. Think about it, more people, not enough beds, we need even more people so that the shortage of beds is more severe. Its logical.

I agree, only legitimate problem I see is when you have people clearing out supplies early. I think there are gougers, and they need to be stopped, however, we need profitability to spur the supply. People clearing the shelves before something like this hits, like the ones buying up all the hand sanitizer, should be severely punish IMO. How you balance this is beyond me, on one hand, you need the profit driven motive, on the other hand, you dont want everything falling into the hands of just a few that are able to drop 50K on hand sanitizer weeks before hand.

Its not BS, Italy is going through hell at their hospitals, and it is the very reason we seem to be over reacting in the US and elsewhere (to not be like Italy). The disease is spreading too fast there, not enough ICU spots and bed, not enough ventilators. If you halved the numbers of infected, used the same percentage (as in Italy) requiring critical care, most major cities would almost immediately run out of ventilators and ICU space.

Happened on the national scale during 2016 presidential race as well.

They are the ones getting tested. Think probably in terms of 500K maybe more actual cases (people who have not been tested). These are the jet set crew, their lives are not ours, the travel ban really affects these people, 30 extra minutes in the airport for security is too much of a price to pay when you are resort hopping all over the world. We think of a travel ban as no big deal, to these people its like banning travel in your own car for the rest of us. They are constantly exposed to crowds of people at gatherings, parties, etc... They typically being wealthy and well connected would get tested first.

You have a better argument for that then suspending gun sales, you could ban or delay elective procedures so that ALL medically licensed professionals are in an all hands on deck availability for critical procedures and corona-virus control.

Someone who obviously was 12 during Obama presidency. It SUCKED. 401K was shit, job market was shit. Housing market was shit. Make it 2009 again... Sounds good if you were 12 then, sounds good if you are 22 in college work at Starbucks for weed money maybe.

No. This is patriot porn. Have been hearing this BS about a big pedophile arrest (Tom hanks included) the 10 gays of larpness (I mean 10 days of darkness). I have been hearing about secret plans since Trumps inauguration, "Sessions is our guy be patient" then when its obviously false, on to the next secret plan. Will governments use the virus to take advantage of things? YES, they already are. Does some Anon that writes poetry online know about every single facet, NO.

I think they are overeating, but I think they are legitimately scared, and I think there is also this, outdo factor going on with political motivations. Nobody wants to be the one that decides not to quarantine, then have a large un-maintainable outbreak erupt in their jurisdiction.

Great stuff, I have been looking for a day by day h1n1, let me know if you find it. Still hard to draw a comparison. Seems like h1n1 was more prolific but less lethal from what I can tell, but its really hard to say.

Yeah, I am thinking so. I dont remember changing anything about my life in 2009. I dont remember even thinking about it. It was something I saw casually on the news. If I can see the numbers in the context of Coronavirus, it will serve a great purpose putting this all into perspective. Unfortunately, a lot of charts people post are BS, made to look a certain way to elicit a certain perspective, I will be able to tell immediately.

I second that. Would love to see day by day comparison. Wondering if this is just another H1N1

As long as you don't manspread while dumping it, you are fine.
