Yes, he could have done better on covid-1984. I thought he should have fired Fauci a long time ago and he was not sufficiently skeptical of the vaccine. That said, I will always love him for steadfastly refusing to wear a mask. He knew enough to not get the vaccine on camera like Traitor Pence. He knew enough to oppose the lockdown insanity, etc. He was better on Covid than almost any politician, even if he wasn't perfect. We also need to consider that he needed to get re-elected and could not afford to lose the suburban woman vote in swing states, who in my experience tend to be more covid-crazy than average.

Anyway, I agree with you, but I won't criticize him because he was overall trying to do the right thing. If he had stayed in office, we all know he would have fired Fauci on day one. I was dying to see that. It would have been beautiful.

I think it was clear that he had no support. The military leadership was totally against him after Traitor Mattis put all his stooges in power. Pence had betrayed him and so had everyone else around him. If he had refused to step down, I think he would have been quickly arrested or killed. Maybe you can argue he should have gone down a martyr, but to what end? The public showed with their response to the covid hysteria that they have no backbone. I'm sure he watched everyone dutifully wearing their masks everywhere and realized America does not have the backbone to resist the Communists. I don't blame him for not going down in flames. The other point people forget is that even if a teacher is three times better at teaching than you as a parent, the teacher has to split his attention into 20-30 students and spends most of his time dealing with the problem students. You can focus one-on-one the whole time, or at most a few kids. That makes a big difference.
