Absolutely. I think it's wrong to allow your child to be abused all day at school. Homeschool. It's worth going on one income if you have to.

She is exactly right. But even accepting the stupid premise, how are they going to get training if you defund the police? These people cannot reason.

There are a lot of stupid white people in Antifa though. Maybe they aren't looting target, but they are committing a lot of violence and terrorism. The amount of white women I've seen on social media supporting the looting is disturbing too.

I don't understand the idea that you think a country is so racist you can't stand for the flag, but you are happy to represent that country. Don't they compete under that flag? If I really believed the country was horribly racist and the flag was something I could not stand for, then I would not be representing it! Hypocrites!

You are correct. I just researched it and despite saying a lot of good thing about what Trump did for the black community, lately he has been saying stupid things about police violence. It's really hard to undo all the brainwashing, even when someone sees some points clearly.

LBJ's Great Society programs massively expanded the welfare state that FDR only started. If you need examples: there's the Food Stamp Act of 1964. The Community Action Program, Head Start. Social Security was massively expanded in 1965 and 1967. Medicare was not from FDR; it was from LBJ in 1965. Medicaid also was not FDR, but started in 1965 under LBJ. I'm not sure where you are getting your facts on those. There's also the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965. The 1964 Economic Opportunity Act. The expansion of the welfare state in the 60s was enormous. Please read up on the Great Society programs.

I would like to believe this, but there are a lot of brainwashed people in her district.

Yes absolutely. The problem is when someone spouts off a load of false garbage, then when they are corrected, they demand a source. Ok, it's always fair to ask for a source, but you shouldn't be spouting false garbage when you don't know what you're talking about.

I disagree. First of all, FDR was not there in the 1920s, he didn't come until later. The real welfare state explosion was in the 60s under LBJ with the Great Society push. The rates of single parenthood for black people was not far above the rate for whites, until the 60s when it exploded and it did coincide with the welfare state explosion. The welfare state penalizes fathers because you get more welfare money as a single mom than you do with a father present. Even poor people are well aware of this fact and act accordingly. The welfare state has never been on the decline since the 60s. Thomas Sowell makes all of this very clear in his books. Well worth reading.

I agree that's the problem, but I don't think sex education will solve it. It's the welfare state that enables and rewards this behavior. This behavior exploded with the welfare state and it would be reduced without it.

He's a traitor and his political career should be over, but let's not delude ourselves. I don't think it would have made a difference really if he had remained loyal.

Ashli Babbit murder is also ignored. That one really angers me.

Yup. Fellow Virginian here. The hypocrisy is mind-blowing here.

Cut the welfare state and school choice would go a long way to solving it.
