It’s like you see each other and give that nodding approval greeting. It’s nice.

To add my take on some other comments, yes, I think people wearing a mask solo in their own car are either stupid or brainwashed, it’s not hurting me. It doesn’t impinge on my freedom, and as long as they don’t expect me to wear a mask, I won’t expect them take theirs off for me.

That’s the really great thing about freedom, it works both ways! I’ve always said, if you aren’t hurting anyone (mentally/physically/financially/etc.) then do as you please.

Goodbye, Blunt. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I knew there was something swampy about that guy when he had to try so hard to protect his seat from Jason Kander back in ‘18.

You’re very optimistic. I like that. I was hooked on that hopeium pretty hard back before January 6th. Now, not so much, but your post has really opened my eyes to a non-violent way out of this. I now find myself being cautiously optimistic again. Thanks for your post and info. I’ll do some more looking at federalism myself (been a while since I’ve been in school) and probably write some of my reps and get them to look into Missouri taking extra steps to distance themselves from the fed.

Exactly this.

Granted, if you call a black person a n-word, for example, you risk getting punched in the mouth. But damnit, it’s our freedom to do if we so choose!

I’m a big fan of balsamic vinegar in salad dressings. Adds a yuge depth of flavor and some sweetness.

Technically, “genetically modified” could refer to the fact that corn looks nothing like it used to millennia ago. Corn has been bred to be the way it is and produce the fruit it produces. Native American people did it, long before we had laboratories.

I’m all for avoiding foods that are heavily processed, but not all “GMOs” are bad.

Fun fact: corn would not survive long term in its current form without human intervention.

Lard or tallow is where it’s at! Lard makes the best fried chicken!

I know the sign says Riot Season, but I still can’t get “wabbit season/duck season” out of my head!

What is the Xiden picture? Is that real? It’s sad that I have to ask...if a picture of our “president”...sucking on someone else’s fingers...is real...

Hasbro (the people that make Mr. Potato-head), claimed they were going to drop the “Mr.” from his name to make him gender neutral. Today, however, it came out that Hasbro was “just kidding” about removing the “Mr.”. I tend to side with some that said it was a big marketing stunt, maybe combined with a “test-the-waters” type scenario.

Either way, it kind of pisses me off.

Exactly. People going mask crazy, but walking around Walmart/misc store and touching crap on the shelves, putting it in their car, bringing it into their home. Unless you are following sterilization protocols (and let’s face it, no one is) you are 100% bringing pathogens into your home. Rely on your immune system, people!

I really do. Not many, but damn good ones. IMHO, that’s the best way, and what I try to tell my kids.

This is so true. I really didn’t think much about it until he said that. It really puts things into perspective when you have the chance of losing part (or all) of your liberties. As commented below you, my list of life values has been adjusted.

If I lived in a dem shithole, I probably would do that. But where I live is 99% Trump supporters, and people still wear masks. I’ve never been told to wear one except by store workers. As long as mask-wearers don’t expect me to put one on, I won’t expect them to take theirs off.

Like you said, to each their own.

Wearing the right mask for the right application works. Proper application of the mask is also important. The problem is, by my estimate, 95% of the people following mask orders don’t know how to put on a mask in such a way that they don’t contaminate it in the process. Also, cloth masks do jack shit against pathogens. And most places only want your face covered. Sorry, but that’s total and complete bullshit, and I’m not going to wear one at all.

I live in Missouri, it’s really pretty easy, but I originate from New Jersey. That place sucks for buying a firearm. Imagine it nationwide...

This is the right answer.

I fell into some of the Q stuff, and, although it would have been an epic real-life movie, it didn’t happen. There are still people that follow it. That’s fine. But exactly as you said, they’re not my enemy. The left, the communists, the globalists, the ChiComs, 95% of the politicians in big government, the people who want to see this country fundamentally changed...those people are my enemy. Those are the people I want to see convicted of their crimes and misdeeds. There is far too much corruption and our enemies are far too organized for us to nitpick each other on our minor differences. We all want to MAGA...so let’s fucking MAGA!
