There's reality, and there's what Biden's handlers want you to believe. The contracts were signed and executed. The feds cannot pay the contractors without the contractors completing the project, and the feds cannot just cancel the contract. This, of course, would be the case if we still lived under the rule of law, but I'm not sure that's the case anymore.

Trump executed the wall contracts before he left office. They could NOT cancel the contracts. Pay the contractors for not completing the wall, violate federal law. Cancel the contracts, violate the contract. Trump wins again.

Thanks to MLB's little All Star Game stunt my parents finally cut the cable cord. They're in their mid seventies and I've been working on them for at least two years. Thanks MLB.

I hereby award you 1000 points for the correct answer.

Speaking of which, mandating experimental medical procedures violates the Nuremberg Code. ALL of the COVID vaccines are experimental. NONE of the COVID vaccines are FDA approved.

Without the step of equality before GOD, there would be no equality under the law, or people picking their own leaders. The enlightenment thinkers, and John Locke in particular, took the logical step, and that step was predicated on equality before God. Oh there was democracy of a kind before Christianity. Solon's reforms were a form of democracy, but those reforms were based on practical matters such as giving as many people skin in the game as possible, not a philosophical or spiritual truth.

There's about 10 minutes of play in a 4 hour football game. Televised baseball is almost entirely watching the pitcher and the catcher play catch. Hockey is great live, but not on TV. Basketball, well, basketball is fun to play at the gym, but that's about it. If it wasn't for gambling professional sports would have died out.

Correct, Christianity only covers equality in God's eyes. That, however, is still a major major shift, particularly in antiquity.

In order to boycott woke professional sports you have to cut your cable cord.

Oh I disagree, all men are equal in the eyes of God is what early Christianity was all about, and it was subverted by the Romans and others. Having that kind of shenanigans in your religion does not lend itself to hierarchical control. The Sermon on the Mount, as an example, is all about equality in the eyes of God. Turning the other cheek does not mean what you, likely, think it means.

Yes. I would go so far as to say that the entire Church of Rome is only tangentially "Christian".

I've been sliding a bit of my investments to physical gold a silver. My thought is that I'll need enough to cover the absolute basics while the shit hits the fan, say two years.

I know a few guys that run their own home repair business that give a cash, nudge nudge, wink wink, discount. They seem to be doing alright.

Dig. Ding. Winner. Winner. Chicken dinner. Not very religious myself, but Christianity has always been dangerous to the so called "elite". If we are all equal in the eyes of God, which is a big departure from Judaism, there is no need for an Elite. There is no kissing the ring. There is no king or queen (unless you highjack Christianity). People fail to realize what an astoundingly earth shattering concept equality in the eyes of GOD, particularly in the ancient world, was/is.

Tax breaks are usually tied to performance measures. A government gives tax breaks for so many dollars invested, or so many jobs created. If the company does not invest or create as they promised, the tax breaks or tax credits can be removed. Often a company will come to the government and want to keep the tax break even though they didn't meet the goals. I, the corporation, didn't meet the goals due to circumstances beyond my control (COVID) but intend to, so don't take away my tax break. Usually governments can renegotiate the tax break giving the corporation a break, but they don't have to. I suspect Delta didn't meet their benchmarks this year.

You would think that vaccine availability would shut the China-Flu Karens the fuck up, but nooooooooooooo. Karen wants to force you to get the shot too. Go get your shot Karen, mind your fucking business, and STFU.

I have no problem with the vaccine. My parents, in their late 70's, got the vaccine. They were somewhat vulnerable, and, as the old man said, they don't have to worry too much about the long term effects. I, however, do not need the vaccine, and the long term effects of an experimental vaccine outweigh my miniscule risks from the China-Flu.

If this was going on during the Cold War the Soviet Union would be slapping a wig on Boris's ass and winning medals.

It's happening everywhere. Governments and large corporations have been replacing competent people with incompetent diversity hires. The work still has to get done, so corporations and governments 1099 out the real work. This makes these organizations less efficient which, in a normal market would allow for them to be replaced by their competition. In clown world, however, corporations are protected from competition from smaller businesses by onerous federal regulations, and governments are protected by voter fraud. Plan your careers and investments accordingly.

The test doesn't tell if you are sick with the China-flu, it tells if you have any of the China-Flu RNA in your system.
