My observations from my GenX perch, millennials are not ageing well.
Remember when Harvard was relevant?
Are those hot tortillas?
The Fed has been buying federal debt with crisp, freshly printed dollars since 2008. That little, soon to blow up in their face, game has grown exponentially in the last year. The errybody gets free shit plan will come to an end. I would say that it will be fun to watch, but it won't.
They'll drag Joe across that 2 year line if they have to.
Yesterday the Fed came out and assured everyone that ALL IS FINE. The Trillions printed in the last year doesn't matter. The tens of trillions in Quantitative Easing started in 2008 to save Obama doesn't matter. Biden's anti growth policies don't matter. Biden's pages and pages of new regulations and renewed old regulations Trump killed doesn't matter. Rates won't raise until 2023, and only a sight uptick in inflation. Then? Well then Treasuries went up. Interesting times indeed.
I have a sister-in-law that is crazy as fuck. Not crazy haha, but I've got a letter from a judge that says I'm crazy. I routinely get locked up against my will crazy. I talk to people that aren't there crazy. You know what she's not? This fucking crazy.
She's living at home and commuting. She's more conservative , if that's possible, than I am.
When a butt pirate gets a promotion?
We've had that discussion.
Got that covered. She has taken enough AP courses in High School to not have to take almost all of the "General Education" requirements. Tested out of all of the English, History, Economics, Psychology, Stats, and the first semester of Calc.
Daughter starts university in the Fall. She wants to get a degree in Mathematics, a degree in Education, and to teach High School Math. Looked up the requirements for the math degree...impressive. Looked up the requirements for the Education degree...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick! A retarded monkey could get an Education degree.
HAHAHAHA. We don't hang traitors, we promote them.
The entire not for profit foundation tax loopholes, including churches, needs to be eliminated. No more foundations. No more tax deductions for charity.
If the authoritarian left wants to raise taxes, they can start there.
"Greatest" beget Boomers beget Millennials
Lost beget Silent beget GenX beget GenZ
I once read a theory, that I don't necessarily hold to, that the Silent GenX GenZ generations being smaller are the echo of the massive losses in WWI (Lost Generation).
It's worse than debt, it's printed money "loaned" to the federal government. Quantitative easing since 2008. Trump's plan was to not fight the losing budget battle but to create growth and to deregulate. Growth brings money in and deregulation decreases the cost going out. Now? Well now we have the Fed MASSIVELY increasing the money supply coupled with antigrowth policies and byzantine regulations. This will not end well.
Always keep a few in the trunk just in case.
No whiskey. Not even a jar containing a mysterious clear liquid? I am disappoint.
We don't have a violence committed with a gun problem. We have a violence committed with a gun by black males between the ages of 16 and 45 problem. Those are just flat the facts.
Universities arose around a library. Books, and information in general, was expensive and rare. Are books and information still rare?
I try not to paint "generations" with a broad brush, but as a heart of the GenX feller, the millennials we have in the workplace bring little value. No, I'm not going to pat you on your head for doing your job. Yes, you have to show up to work on time. Yes, you're going to have to do this everyday for a long long time. No, this work is not interesting all the time. Yes, when we have to meet with the public you're going to wear a suit. Yes the head boss man is a boomer, and, FYI, he knows what the fuck he's doing. No you won't be running the company in five years.
Some of them are OK, the white tech dudes are pretty chill. The small sampling of GenZ seems a little better, squirrely as fuck, but OK.
Don't look at as NOT paying taxes, look at it as cutting back your taxable income. Get your cash flow right. Old cars, vegetable garden, no debt, barter, side cash job, leave high cost of living areas...
Excuse me while I hit this gong at a hundred yards with a slug out of a 12 gauge. GOOOONG! Me: WTF! HOW?
The problem is that the people that vote for higher taxes don't pay taxes. Even the Social Security Tax, Medicare/Medicaid tax, and local taxes are covered for them through the Earned Income Tax Credit and government programs such as Section 8 vouchers.
My proposal. If you receive any funding any money from a government you cannot vote in that governments election. Example, a doctor or nurse that is paid from Medicare dollars though a hospital cannot vote in any federal election. A teacher that is paid through the state cannot vote in the state's elections.
Get your cash flow right. Cut your earned income. Stop working more, to pay more, to people that want you dead.
