I'm fairly certain that the past two elections (including this one) in North Carolina were stolen. Somehow NC always manages to vote straight Republican except for the AG and the Governor's seat. I'm certain we only were blessed to have Pat McCrory as governor by a freak accident because the steal didn't go according to planned. They were also planning on stealing the senate seat from Thom Tillis too but Cal Cunningham fucked up his campaign so bad there was no saving it. The DNC in NC has managed to fuck over NC citizens at every opportunity by using corrupt judges to legislate from the bench to make voting districts more favorable to democrat candidates and overturning Voter ID laws because they're supposedly racist somehow. The cherry on top is on every election Durham always manages to "find" an extra box of ballots that ever so slightly puts the DNC candidate ahead.
I was an NRA member for a short time but they seemed rather spineless and I have zero confidence in Wayne Pierre so I opted to not renew my membership. Instead of standing up for our rights and going on the offensive all they did was compromise and soak up membership dues so the leadership could take luxury vacations meanwhile the GOA, the Heller Foundation, independent attorneys and all sorts of grass roots organizations across the country were the ones doing the actual fighting and then on the rare occasion there was a victory the NRA had the nerve to take the credit.
tl;dr: The NRA is corrupt and therefore dead to me.
There have been a few constitutional challenges to the NFA but they can never quite make it to the SCOTUS for a variety of bullshit reasons.
One of the problems that makes it so difficult to challenge the NFA is that you need to have standing before the court which means you need to risk getting your dog shot and your anus pounded by bubba for 15 years all because you didn't pay your taxes on a bent piece of metal that you're not allowed to pay taxes on because said piece of metal was bent after 1986.
The MSM narrative is that North Carolinians tend to vote for individuals instead of paying attention to party. I'm calling bullshit on that! Cooper "won" against both McCrory and Forest by a sliver. It was a miracle we got McCrory to begin with and I fear that we may never have another GOP governor.
That is why you need an emulsifier so you can then apply some heat to get the two to bind together and then you can just flush that shit right out. That is how you drain the swamp!

A Rand Paul presidency would be an awesome dream come true after Trump has completed his next 4 years but what about Electric Fence Mike Pence? I was initially skeptical of Trump's pick for VP but after these past 4 years I am absolutely stunned by Mike Pence. That man is just the dictionary definition of classy.
POTUS reminds me very much of Teddy Roosevelt. He's shaking up the establishment and isn't afraid to speak his mind no matter who mocks him for it. Roosevelt was so much for draining the swamp he even went so far as to establish his own political party to rival the GOP and the Demonrats. Unfortunately this fractured the electoral college between three parties handing the Demonrat Woodruff Wilson the presidency. Unlike Roosevelt, Trump was smart enough to realize you have to work inside the political duopoly in order to get the support needed to build momentum for change (Based Rand Paul also clearly realizes this because he runs as GOP instead of Libertarian).
Speaking of based Roosevelt, one historian made the argument that WWII may have never happened had Roosevelt won the election against Wilson whose bizarre ideas delayed the U.S. entry into WWI and getting us the treaty of Versailles leading to the absolute devastation that created the perfect storm for the rise of Nazism and Communism.
