I am feeling the big depression.

It goes beyond political, because we currently live in a (as I like to call it) post-reality era

Reality is not real.

How do I wake up every day with the wish to improve myself when reality is not real.

Voting doesn't matter, facts don't matter, reality doesn't matter.

You wake up one day and boom - they decided you're fired for too white. You wake up one day and boom - they decided entertainment is banned cause it's "racist". You wake up one day and boom - they ban sports cause it's transphobic.

Men are women, women are men, humans are dogs, dogs are babies, babies are dead, biology is offensive, history never happened, future is pre-determined.

Nothing you do makes sense.

The only option that I tried doing so far was ignoring the bullshit.

But beyond that. Beyond politics and narratives and news.

Just..what's the point of life. It's random. I've been lucky enough to achieve some goals that I've set in life, and that's it. I have no new goals. If I set some... they will be "fake" - me creating goals just to keep myself alive. I won't feel happy/sad if I fail or achieve them.

I feel that I'm at my point where there's nothing new to do, and even the things that I can do that are new....they wouldn't affect me.

I know what would happen with the world if i pass away tomorrow - nothing.

I know what people would be bummed out when they find out about it few months for now.

I feel that...nothing really matters to be honest.

Living is just... plain, I don't find the motivation to continue. I really don't and I doubt I ever will.

I had the same feelings for a long time, but there was always "oh well, let's see how this and that will play out", but at the moment, knowing me, knowing the people, knowing the world and knowing everything... I really see no reason to continue.

I am not suicidal and I've never been.

So that kinda sucks tbh. At least if I was suicidal I would've had a goal.

I do believe that dying is the best thing we can do in life tho. Going to the "great beyond". But there's no conscience there so I wouldn't really be able to "feel" anything since my mortal body won't join me on the "journey to heaven"

So it really sucks, since I don't want to live, and I don't want to die either.

I am stuck in this limbo where nothing matters, every day is the same, I have no goals or motivation. But I was lucky enough to achieve some of my goals, so I guess my life was alright enough. And there's nothing more for me to do next.

So yeah, as it stands right now I see that only two(/three) options exist:

Alternating my brain by getting addicted to alcohol (or drugs) or dying.

And neither of those options are attractive to me.

So yeah, idk, I wanted to share this with you, in hopes that there's a psychologist pede here or to see if someone shares my thoughts.
