I've been feeling hopeful lately that we really are near the end of this, now. Weather's starting to warm up, vaccines are going out (I still won't touch it), we're almost a year into this and people are starting to wonder how the hell we let that happen. People are getting noticeably tired of working from home, I'm seeing a bunch of articles, sometimes even from left-leaning sources, suggesting that by late April or May we'll be back to normal.
And now we have multiple states like this saying fuck it and ending many if not all of their restrictions. Florida's success is getting impossible to ignore. The dominos are really beginning to fall now, and while some people still cling to their masks and hand sanitizer, the china virus power grab is slipping. Fuck your "new normal", we're going back to the real normal.

I was born in the late 90s. I feel like I’m part of the last group of people to remember the world before social media and handheld internet everywhere you go. It definitely feels like I grew up in a world that I never got to truly experience as an adult, but at least did as a kid. I remember actually having to go to a friend’s house to catch up with them, to play a game with them etc. Feels like I long for a life that was robbed from me.
