Lockdowns were a knee jerk, panicked response by the CCP when the world was figuring out something was going on over there. So being the communist country they are they locked all of their citizens inside (welding doors shut in many cases), and then told the world “Look! Just two weeks of that and the virus is magically gone!” (Lying through their teeth).
Then the rest of the world, not knowing wtf else to do, decided to copy China’s method, without thinking for a single second that maybe, maybe China is full of shit like they, historically, have always been.
And now we’re in a situation where people know how ineffective that strategy is but refuse to admit that they were wrong for wanting to do it in the first place, and are now doubling and tripling down, instead blaming the citizens for their failure.

There does need to be a hard cutoff for counting ballots. If you can’t count them in a timely manner, you’re not doing it right. If you’re not doing it right, we have no reason to believe the legitimacy of your results.

It is the manner by which this data is reported is what’s causing all the hysteria. Intentionally. I’d bet if we actually saw data on a day-by-day basis, it would be less dangerous than driving to work in the morning
