The biggest mistake moral people have when engaging with a immoral person is assuming that other person is willing to 'fight fair' or have an honest discussion.
Do not engage with immoral people, people who literally think that all morals are made up and have no belief in God, right or wrong, or a higher power in a defensive position.
They will and continue to adjust the Overton window if people don't just say "no, i'm right and you are wrong". Don't back peddle, don't let people say "Well xyz absurd situation". Stand your ground. Push your ground forward. make them feel bad. shame them for supporting wanton lawless behavior.
Seriously what absolutely cuckholdry is going on in America where a kid protecting a town as part of a militia is sentenced with homicide for doing his duty to protect his fellow citizens and their property.

My city has failed to deliver safety and security. It's a real crises. Now our DA wants to arrest DHS officers sent in to PHL to help. Our Mayor says "Fuck Trump" and does everything he can to avoid federal law by harrying ICE at every step.
Time to step in Feds and guarantee the safety of Americans. Stop the gang violence and criminal enterprises infested in our once great cities.
