I'm in total agreement. Thankfully it's going our way right now, but that will end soon. I'd be hard pressed to name just one government official that isn't compromised in some way that negatively affects our country.
Is there some sort of clause I'm unaware of that states that the president can't nominate a judge during impeachment hearings? I can't actually think of anything the House of Reps can do to stop the Senate from voting. Hell, the 47 democrats in the Senate have no way of stopping this that I know of. The only way to stop this is Trump decides against it (not gonna happen) or 4 RINOs side with communists. We already know 3 probably will.

To be fair, every federal judge up until this point will have some ties to the swamp. Trump needs to shift through them to find the least swampy and compromised.
If I recall, it was the Republicans that entertained the crying of the dems, probably for optics alone. Hopefully they don't make the same mistake unless they actualyl feel the need to do so.
