Many of us have done this in some way, shape, or form. It gets easier over time and cuts the riff raff out of your life. Those who matter will try to discuss things with you if they disagree instead of making over generalizations about your character. But overall, your life and your purpose will be better achieved without fake people. What you’re attempting to do is make a bridge with those who differ from you and not burn it. Don’t feel bad if some people don’t accept it, because they cannot be reasoned with, and the lies that they believe do not matter in the grand scheme of the message you’re trying to deliver.
